We stayed 4 nights at this riad in Fes, and our every need was attended. The staff is friendly and accommodating, and the room was very large with a comfortable bed. A/C was self-controlled in the room, and worked perfectly. The bathroom was large and we had plenty of hot water and good water pressure. There was a leak from... more

This is an old riad with an interesting history.. We were there for three nights in May. The service was friendly and attentive, the breakfasts were good (though the coffee much too weak for our US tastes), but there has been a roof (albeit plastic sheeting or something similar) installed over the courtyard - designed to be open to the... more

We were welcomed and received grand service for our 3 day stay at the beautiful raid Dar Anebar. We were treated with kindness and attention to our needs/ wants while traveling in Fez. The raid is beautiful, we spent most evening sitting on the roof top sipping wine watching the sun set over Fez. The food was the best Moroccan... more

We arrived after a long day of plane and train travel, and were immediately soothed by the tranquility of Dar Anebar. We loved our stay at Ahmed's family home (he grew up here as a child, and his grandfather built it). He was a gracious host, always accommodating our needs. He even arranged a rental car for us on short... more

We had dinner at Dar Anebar and were delighted with the setting, the ambiance, the food and the service. Each of the traditional dishes was prepared in such a way that we said "Oh-- THIS is how it is supposed to taste!" The restaurant was extremely accommodating, picking us up from our riad across the media so we wouldn't get... more

On our arrival in Fez we were guided through the maze of narrow streets and alleys, up and down steps, bombarded by strange sights, sounds and smells and wondered if our ‘guide’ would ever get us to the right riad. As if by magic as we neared Dar Anbar, Aziz appeared to greet us and relieve us of our cases... more

We stayed for 3 night and during this period we had amazing time!! Decoration is fantastic and overwhelming!!! Sheets are wonderful and really soft! Location is perfect - just 10 minutes from the center of the medina!! Other Riads in Fes are located far... Staff is really flexible and Ahmed gives good tips and advises - present most of the... more

I stayed at Dar Anebar over Christmas, 2008, and was thrilled with every aspect of my stay. Dar Anebar is a beautiful, elegant oasis perfectly located in the Fes medina. In 35 years of international travel, I would be hard-pressed to recall a more friendly staff. They truly saw to my every need, including picking me up at the taxi... more

If you're looking for a place in Fes where you are cared for and can enjoy the feeling of stepping back in time, this is your place. Such personalized hospitality! The warm and welcoming staff and owner saw to our needs from the moment we arrived in Fes. We were met at the nearby Palais Jamai Hotel by Aziz, who... more

This is a beautiful riad but it is very dark and all the rooms look over the central courtyard where all meals are served. The rooms do not have windows but rather wooden shutters that let in all noise. Thus it can become very noisy if people are eating dinner and you want to go to sleep. It is beautifully... more
