Loved this place. How can you argue with Bono? Great attention to detail, definitely a pleasure to be there. Easy walking to the Blue Gate. Beware the Fasia restaurant nearby and instead make sure you go to the FASSI.

Have you ever walked into a place, and thought WOW, who had the concept of doing this, I walked through the doors of the Yacout and was astounded by the beauty of the building and had that WOW moment. Hall, the center of the house where meals takes place, has a fountain in the middle as well as a roof... More

My wife and I stayed here for 2 nights, it was in short the best part of our stay in Morocco. Where to start, shortly before arriving, we called the Riad to get directions, as it turns out it was as simple as we thought it couldn't be. Very easily accessible once you are near to the large fountain in... More

A really beautiful well situated Riad with plenty of coffee shops and restaurants in the fountain-ed square just around the corner from it. We got off to a rocky start as the room allocated to us had a non functioning air conditioner and the bedside lights were not working, but without fuss we were moved to another room where the... This riad has it all - lovely riad, great location, excellent food and very friendly & helpful staff. Very handy to all important medina. It's like an oasis from all the bustle of such a busy city. Run out of further superlatives

Walking through the derelict streets of the Medina, it is almost impossible to imagine the beauty you will find behind those beautiful ancient doors, And that was definitely the case of Riad El Yacout. Greeted by warm friendly smiles, hot mint tea and cookies we were totally under the spell of this palace, belonging i was told to a researcher,... More

Stayed at Riad El Yacout in September, brilliant choice on the part of our tour agency. Couldn't have chosen better myself. Not one to review or comment, but i felt that Yacout deserved the time and the review. So here we are. Excellent service, beautiful building (we were upgraded, thank you Kris), good food, great views from terrace. Rooms and... More

We went back and forth with our tour operator regarding Fes accommodations, and on his recommendation, we stayed at Riad El Yacout. While it's very likely that he and others have had good experiences at this riad, we didn't. Shortly before our arrival, apparently the staff quit en masse. We were left with two young men, both of whom seemed... More

Dear Guest While we thank you for the review, we always appreciate the feedback, I must say this is the first I have heard of the so called "en mass quitting" of our staff. Our team is a fair sized one as we are a private riad, and not a 100 roomed hotel. The members of the team you met,... More

This riad is situated perfectly on the edge of the medina. Just a couple of blocks away you will find banks & restaurants and all the stalls of a Moroccan medina. It is beautifully decorated with stunning mosaic tiles and intricate plaster work, carpets, a fountain and furnishings. It is so quiet inside you feel secure and peaceful - a... More
