We had such a beautiful time at Riad Laaroussa. Frederic and the staff are amazing. So friendly, attentive, caring and personable and will help you with anything you need. They really go above and beyond what is expected. The Riad itself is beautiful with a large courtyard and plenty of natural light. The rooms are spacious and comfortable with very... More

We stayed at the Riad with our 4 children (6 months to teenager) in two rooms at the Riad. The rooms were spacious, elegantly decorated and clean. The crib for the baby was ready on arrival. The staff was very friendly, welcoming and accommodating. The breakfast was generous and well-enjoyed by all. Above all, the experience of the Riad was... More

This place is a heaven of tranquility and a pleasure for all senses: beautiful settings and architecture, tasteful renovation, nice garden, great food and very nice staff with attention to details. It is close to everything in the medina and such a peaceful retreat: amazing!

We could not have had a better experience at Riad Laaroussa! The grounds were stunning, our room was exceptional, the food was amazing and the staff was genuinely kind and helpful. If we are fortunate enough to return to Fes, I will absolutely try and stay here again!

What an amazing place! How can I describe the joy and magic of snaking our way through the ancient Medina of Fez, turning down one "road/alley" after another, trying to take in all of the unfamiliar sights and sounds, and finally arriving at the breathtakingly beautiful and tranquil Riad Laaroussa. We were immediately greeted by staff and ushered to the... More

Fes is a wonderful city, though the medina can be a little daunting at first - certainly in parts noisy, dirty, crowded though full of life. When you enter the doors of this Riad after a hard day's sightseeing all that disappears. It is a beautiful, and beautifully restored, old Riad with large rooms (and bathrooms - we loved the... Stayed two nights in the Grey Suite which i would highly recommend. It is a large room located on the first floor with a nice view of the courtyard. There is a fireplace that the staff lights in the evening and is blazing when you return from dinner. Kathy and Fred are great hosts and go out of their to... More

This place is an extremely pleasant spot to stay while in Fez. It is an oasis of calm after the bewildering array of alleys in the medina. More than anything it is the people that make this place, they all seem to be very happy to be here, and that makes for a relaxing and pampered stay, though the surroundings... More

We stayed for two nights in the Grey Suite and cannot recommend Riad Laaroussa highly enough. From the moment we walked into the magnificent courtyard we felt welcomed and at home. This really is an oasis in the middle of the medina. Fred, Cathy and their amazing team made our time in Fes quite special. We look forward to returning... More

After 3 flights from California, I was more than eager to arrive in Fes and start my vacation. I can't imagine a better and warmer welcome. My friends and I squealed with delight when we arrived and saw the beautiful courtyard and breathtaking rooftop terrace. The views of the city and surrounding landscape from the Riad Laaoussa rooftop are breathtaking.... More
