We stayed 5 nights at the peaceful Riad Laaroussa and had a wonderful experience. The welcome was warm, the cream suite was huge, clean and comfortable. It is run with competence and dedication by Fred, Cathy and Thierry. These people and their wonderful and helpful staff made us feel like we were truly a guest in their home. Sabah did... More

I've stayed at Riad Laaroussa twice, and each time has been extraordinary. It's a gorgeous property, and each room is distinctive and exquisite and deliciously comfortable. The staff is warm and welcoming, and the ambience is the best sort of casual elegance. Fred and Cathy are perfect hosts. Fred describes the Riad as "your house", and he really means it:... More

Fez was our favorite spot on our visit to Morocco. That has as much to with the wonderful city as it a tribute to Fred and Cathy at Riad Laaroussa. We travel often (see how many reviews I have) and do our best to find smaller, boutique hotels wherever we go that give us the true flavor of the place... More

This is a wonderful place. The staff is amazing: friendly, responsive and interesting. The courtyard is great for relaxing and enjoying the pets who reside in the riad: two gregarious labs (chocolate and black) and a fat yellow cat. You could spend hours on the roof, enjoying the views and lounge chairs. When booking, you choose your room. We had... More

Our family (2 adults and twins of 9 yrs old) stayed at this fabulous Riad for three nights in April 2013. It is located in the heart of the Medina in Fes. We stayed in the Orange Suite on the ground floor. The room is absolutely beautifully decorated with authentic Moroccan decor, it is luxurious and very spacious. The service... More

Stayed at Riad Laaroussa for 4 nights. Loved every minute of it. Staff is wonderful. Friendly, helpful and always smiling. Rooms are beautiful and the beds are very comfortable too. The food was great. We had dinner two out of our 4 nights there. One night we wanted pizza and they ordered it for us and had it delivered so... More

My mother and I stayed at Riad Laaroussa for four nights at the end of our trip in Morocco. It's a larger riad than where we stayed in Marrakech, but you don't lose any of the personal attention. In fact, it is that personal attention that really stood out as a mark above anywhere I've stayed before. On our first... More

Riad Laaroussa is a beautiful riad in every way. The rooms are amazing and if you imagine yourself on the ideal Moroccan holiday, Riad Laaroussa is what it looks like. In addition the staff--absolutely everyone--is exceptional. They are warm, efficient, and infinitely patient. They were extremely accommodating of our young children as well as older guests. Furthermore, the location is... More

My husband and I stayed here for two nights when we visited Fes and we loved it! We stayed in the yellow room but was upgraded to the orange room on the second night. The entrance was not elaborate and when we first arrived at the door we were skeptical about this riad and thought we had made a bad... More

Lovely Riad. We were in the red room first, but there are no doors to the bathroom, it is just one big open plan. Very romantic but not for the bashful. So we moved to a larger grey room with a fireplace. Romantic, spacious and lovely. Biscuits and Moroccan tea free during the day :) Like a previous poster said,... More
