We cannot say enough positive things about the Riad Laroussa and their team. We spent 2 nights with them on an extended trip throughout Morocco and were so well cared for here that it was a high point in an amazing trip. To start with the Building and facility are gorgeous and contains all sorts of wonderful areas to sit... More

I truly enjoyed staying at Riad Laaroussa. First the decorations are just so beautiful, all the details and designs - the fireplaces, their garden, and rooftop views are wonderful. What made it most incredible is the staff (and I refer to all staff) - genuinely nice people and probably one of the best services I experienced, and of course Ben... More

My friends and I came across this fabulous Riad by accident after meeting a lovely staff member, FZ, who invited us to visit, have some tea and look at it. We were shown around the Riad and all I can say is that it was quite beautiful, the rooftop terrace is fabulous, the staff, including Fred, the owner were so... More

A-rate staff, location, breakfast and premises. Everybody was helpful and so nice! Fred and Cathy as managers help you finding everything you may need from transfer from the airport to a guide. In fact I strongly recommend visiting the city with a guide, at least the first day (Nabil exceeded all expectations). The Riad could not be more beautiful. It... More

Fred is a man with a big heart and it shows in everything at the Riad. Warm and welcoming from the time we entered. He, Kathy and their 5 kids treated us like guests of the family. They would baby sit our son while we get a massage. They would chat with us regularly about how our day was and... More

Our first trip to Fez, and this amazing boutique riad exceeded all our expectations. Picked up by car at the airport, then led through alleys of the medina by one of Laarousa's welcoming staff (our luggage in a hand-cart), we arrived late evening, to find a wonderfully restored riad with orange trees and a fountain playing in its courtyard. Riad... More

Riad Laaroussa is a special place, with very special people who really take care of you. Everything from the pick-up at Casablanca Airport, arranged through the Riad, through our departure pick-up two days later was efficient and punctual. The staff couldn't have been more hospitable, accommodating and kind. They arranged a wonderful guide, Abdul, for us for the day (I... More

Fred and Cathy could not be more helpful or more charming. Palatial room, beautiful courtyard, great roof with views of medina. Outstanding. Only small miss was the massage which was too oily and seemed too short. But this is a fantastic riad in an amazing medieval city.

Riad Laaroussa is a fabulous mix of personal hospitality, attention to detail and genuine interest in guests in a fantastic environment which blends classic Moroccan themes of the riad as house with up-to-the minute luxury. From our first contact with the owner Fred via email everything promised to be excellent. Our arrival in Fez was smooth, we were met at... More

We stayed there. UPSIDE: 1. you can always stay in chain hotels like Hilton, Sheraton etc but this is very different as you stay in the place of absolute peace and tranquility in the middle of the busy souq market with hundred of years historical Islamic architecture. You come inside and voila: it is like a heaven hidden from the... More
