We arrived from Marrakech a bit disappointed in accommodation in Morocco so far, but our stay in Fes was superb. Riad Laaroussa was very special, and very personal. We took the two rooms on the second (Blue and Yellow rooms) which also have a large sitting are in between--perfect for a family. There is a lot of love and detail... More

This is simply the best Riad in Morocco. The accommodations are excellent. The view from the rooftop balcony is incredible. The restaurant and spa services are excellent. Moreover, the owners, Fred an Cathy, are personable, friendly, and went above and beyond to ensure that all accommodations exceeded expectations.

We spent two fantastic days at the beautiful Riad Laaroussa. The welcome and hospitality we received was superb. What really stood out about this particular Riad was the incredible sense of personal service we received, particularly from Fz and Karim! The rooms were outstanding, full of unique touches and spectacular interiors. A pleasure from start to finish. Thank you!

My husband and I stayed at Riad Laaroussa for three nights at the end of July/early August. The other reviews are not exaggerating - this is a very special place indeed. Apart from the beautifully restored riad, the thoughtfully decorated rooms, the great location and the lovely roof terrace, the staff were among the friendliest and most welcoming we have... More

This is a very, very special place. But is goes far beyond the beautiful rooms filled with carefully chosen furnishings, the delicious food, the peace of the courtyard garden, the delightful, attentive staff. This is a place created by two people who have invested their heart and soul in the Riad: their love of Morocco, of its people and culture.... More

We stayed at Riad Laaroussa for 2 nights in early June. Cathy and Fred, the owners, were always around to make you feel at home, and the staff were extremely helpful. We stayed in the grey room, which was just spectacular. It was wonderful having breakfast on the roof each morning, overlooking Fez. As others say, it was such a... More

My wife and I recently stayed at Riad Laaroussa for part of our honeymoon, and everything was fantastic. The Riad is absolutely beautiful, from our suite to the roof terrace with panoramic views of the city from the heart of the medina. The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful, especially F.Z. Even the food was delicious. I cannot think of... More

We travelled to Fes with our two kids, 10 and 12. We were able to stay in a single, very clean, comfortable, and spacious room - a beautiful loft for the kids, they just loved it. Service was excellent - very personal. Staff helped arranged tours, and transportation and was very responsive to even the smallest of requests. Wonderful rooftop... More
