Dar El Hana was a great find. Josephine, the owner , was so friendly and welcoming. She organised for us to be met by Ben at the very busy train station and shown the way back to the Dar. We were given pointers along the way which saved us from getting lost in the maze of lanes that make up... more

We spent seven lovely days and nights at Dar El Hana and loved every minute. Josephine could not have been more welcoming and was always available at the start of the day and the end of the afternoon to help with any enquiries and to make suggestions on how to enjoy Fes.We were well looked after by Ben and the... more

The longer we stayed at Dar ELHana the more we enjoyed our week there. We had a guide for a three hour walking tour of the walled city with the highlight being a visit to a Koranic kindergarten. Accommodation was most comfortable and meals delicious with the evening meal being up on the terrace savouring the view and the culture... more

Josephine was very helpful. She is director, chief, CEO of this place. She will make sure you are comfortable and taken care. By faith we are muslims and she described local attractions with accurate information. She is great resource for local information too. Breakfast is great, when I say its great means "I REALLY MEAN IT". When we were leaving... more

We were very happy with our stay at Dar El Hana. It is very cozy, a perfect place for our small, mature family. Josephine and Ben were extremely welcoming and helpful. They went out of their way to help us locate luggage that had been mishandled by our airline in Casablanca. Josephine made several other arrangements for us as well... more

Just off the main street of the medina Dar El Hana is a little Gem. Clean and comfortable the guest house has an authentic Morocan feel. The friendly staff also adds to the experience. Josephine the Australian lady that owns the place gives it a personal touch being very hands on with the guest giving pointers and tips of what... more

I stayed Dar El Hana in June with my partner. We were backpacking, but thought we might splurge a little extra in Fez. We had been warned that Fez (particularly in the Medina) could get busy and loud. We were looking forward to experiencing the hussle and bussle of Fez (as most backpackers are), but also wanted to make sure... more

Dar El Hana was one of the highlights of our trip to Morocco! I wasn't expecting the lush accommodation and the warm atmosphere that greeting us after our long journey to Fez. I had one of the best night's sleeps of my life in the beautiful beds with the fluffy duvets and pillows, so wonderful. The riad itself is gorgeous,... more

A clean and restful guesthouse run by an Australian, Josephine. She is very helpful, arranging to have someone meet us at the train station late at night and telling us how to catch a bus to Chefchaouen on our departure. Her cook prepared the best meal of our trip to Morocco - a multi-course and magnificent dinner, all vegetarian for... more

If I could give Josephine and Dar el Hana 100000 stars I would. The house is beautiful and has so much history that it gives you a feeling of awe and wonder from the moment you enter it. Josephine is the most gracious and warm hostess and made us feel so welcome in her home. My boyfriend even forgot his... more
