One block off from the Medina, you will find a beautifully restored riad that serves as a respite from the hectic goings-on outside. Mohammed, the very hospitable manager, will have hot mint tea upon your request as well as an excellent breakfast and if need be, advice on how to best maneuver your way thorough the Moroccon culture. more

As others have mentioned, this charming riad is a little hard to find. However, once you arrive, any difficulties will be quickly forgotten when you step into the beautiful courtyard. Technically, Riad Dar Cordoba is a "dar" and not a "riad" as the ornately decorated courtyard is enclosed, not open as in a riad. My group had three rooms, all... more

We stayed at Riad Cordoba while on our honeymoon in March. It’s a little difficult to find, but luckily the Riad manager Mohan arranged for us to be picked up at the train station. As is typical for a medina, the streets are small and narrow, and it’s difficult to tell what’s behind the walls, but once we walked in... more

What can I say other than our stay at Dar Cordoba was amazing. Arriving in Fes after taking a four-hour train ride with no air conditioning in 110+ degree heat, Mohammed ensured that we were picked up from the train station by a reputable cab service and had mint tea waiting for us upon arrival. From there he handled all... more

We had a wonderful stay here for 2 night in July09. The riad itself is gorgeous, from the three-story interior courtyard to the intricately painted 16-foot wood ceiling of our large room. The room itself had a full private bath (shower only), huge sitting area with L-shaped banquette and desk, and then sleeping area partitioned off by a screen. The... more

We were very lucky to get the only Suite of the ground floor. Suite Cordoba. It was nice and quite, a easy walk to the Blue gate entrance. These people were very helpful, and will make you feel very much at home. I wish we could have stayed here for 3 nights and two days. What an amazing old city.... more

My family and I (including 3 children ages 13, 10 and 1) have just spent a fabulous week at the Riad Dar Cordoba. This is a stunningly beautiful riad with a lovely roof top terrace on which to enjoy the late afternoon sun. The owners and staff were extreemely friendly and welcoming. Nothing was too much trouble. My children were... more

Our room was very spacious and comfortable. Breakfast every morning was delicious and fresh. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and returning to our room every afternoon or evening was welcomed with mint tea and warm greetings. This made for a wonderful experience in Fes! more

During our 4 days in Fes we stayed in Dar Cordoba and very much enjoyed it. The staff is warm, hospitable, efficient, and helpful. They went out of their way to welcome us and give us all information we needed. The room was a safe-haven of calm, quiet and cleanliness when we got back in the evenings. We very much... more
