We just came back from a FANTASTIC trip to Morocco, which started with our stay in Riad Arabesque in Fes. The Riad is spectacular... beautiful old, traditional, authentic Moroccan design, with so much attention to detail. Opulence, splendor, intricacy all coupled with so much warmth and hospitality- we couldn't have custom made a more perfect place to be. The riad... More

We stayed at this riad for 3 nights. Everything is decorated in a more old fashioned way, if you like it. To me the whole place felt a little "sleepy" and not so warm and service minded as we have found most of other places to be. I don't think I will come back. I know other much nicer riads,... More

I stayed at the Riad Arabesque with a couple of friends and we were pleasantly surprised by the entire service. The place is absolutely magical overlooking the entire Fes Medina. The rooms look like they came out of one thousand and one nights with a cozy dipping pool placed in the middle. The food is also absolutely incredible, everything from... More

I absolutely adore this raid. The ambiance, decor and attention to detail are meticulous- including cleanliness and amenities! The riad itself is a beautiful example of Moroccan architecture and the tile work is simply amazing! The staff was helpful and they served traditional Fezi meals, which were truly a delight. After staying in Fez a few times in more modern... More

Family of four including 12 and 15 year old stayed in the beautiful and authentic Riad Arabesque for 4 nights in September 2014 in 2 rooms. The Riad is located in the very north east of the medina in the Zenjfour district, a short walk from the Bab Jamai gate. It has its own rear entrance through the medina wall,... More

We stayed at Riad Arabesque in Fez ( April 2014 ) We were very surprised to read the wonderful reviews about this place, our experience could not have been more different. We expected to have "vintage accommodations" but not mold and sewer smell, Room and bathroom were not clean, bed covers and sheets had stains. After complaining we got another... More

I simply felt in love with this place ! Everything seemed to be inspired from the 1001 nights: the fountains, the mezzanine, the pool, the rooms, the view... Behind each wall there's a story ! The owner and his wife are adorable ! The food was delicious. They serve all kind of traditional meals you have ever heard of. A... More

This Riad was obviously lovingly put together by its owners. The decor is ornate, in a luxurious-Morrocan style. The owners are gracious, attentive and very proud of their Riad. Problem is that the Riad needs serious refurbishment. The cushions and slipcovers on sofas, chairs and lounge chairs by the pool are soiled and the air-conditioning equipment in my room was... More

The staff went out of their way to make the Riad feel like home. Beautiful place. We had two dinners on the terrace overlooking the medina and both were excellent. Great rooms, great service, would highly recommend.

It took us a while to get to the Riad, only to realise that they were overbooked. They said they'd put us up in a "riad arabesque 2", but instead took us to a large hotel around the corner. The hotel was probably quite expensive, but it was not what we had paid for. Disliked the attitude of the staff.
