My family really enjoyed our time at Dar Roumana. The staff was wonderful and friendly and the Moroccan staff went out of his way to help my husband with his Arabic. The view from the roof was inspiring as was the meticulously renovated riad. The food for breakfast and dinners was some of the best we had on our trip... More

We stayed here for a week at the end of May, so had ample time to absorb the atmosphere. The riad is a very special, magical place with an exquisite courtyard which is also the restaurant. There is a simple but tasteful fountain in the centre and the decor is stunning. Our room, the Yasmina, was huge and also tastefully decorated.... More

Stayed here 5 nights in May, Yasmina Suite, which is as breathtaking as shown on the web. Quiet, elegant, firm bed, and a lovely little private balcony. Service was spectacular (thank you Frederica and Muhammed!). Staff set up a ride and porter to get us from and to the airport, and set up a guide for two 4 hour trips... More

The first thing to know is that this is a tricky place to find. We arrived after a rain shower and all of the porters with carts that are supposed to be in the parking lot were not around. We set out on our own and after a bit of an adventure, as well as a bit of assistance from... More

Dear Sir, Thank you for your positive comments about the beauty of Dar Roumana and the quality of our staff and it seems your stay here was good overall, judging from your other good review of our restaurant as well. Thank you! However I feel the need to respond to your comments about the breakfast. I have recently corresponded with... More

We stayed for three nights at this spectacular Riad in the Medina of Fez and have to say that it was the highlight of our two week trip to Morocco. Not only was the Yasmina Suite so large and expansive, the detailed artwork of the walls, ceilings and floors just incredible, the private terrace so romantic, the rooftop terrace so... More

Stayed at Dar Roumana for three nights in their beautiful Yasmina suite, and what an exquisite treat this was. Poised on the hill inside the old city, with view into the valley stretching before us, it was a magical place to watch the sun go down on the terrace with a glass of wine and listen to the call to... Three of us spent five nights at Dar Roumana. It was the highlight of our three week trip to Morocco. When you enter the medina you travel through several narrow alleys and you wonder what you have done. When the door to Dar Roumana is opened you know you have entered one of the most beautiful places on earth. We... More

Dar Roumana is Stunningly beautiful, incredibly elegant,a real taste of Old World Fes, restored to perfection in perfect taste.More importantly , Vanessa, the owner, really knows how to provide unobtrussive, kind and generous service...no request is too much for her. And then there is their exclusive Restaurant, which I consider to be the finest Dining in Fes.Taking outside reservations except for... More

We had the most amazing, beautiful room of our recent stay in Morocco in Dar Roumana -- larger than most apartments with a four-poster bed and a huge bathtub. Absolutely fantastic public rooms and friendly but not overbearing care by managers Vanessa and her husband Vincent. But here is the most important point: Make sure you make reservations for dinner... More

Dar Roumana is simply exquisite. I never write reviews on Trip Advisor as I will only be repeating what other customers would say however I feel I need to share the great experience I had at Dar Roumana. I arrived with my partner and we were guided to the rooftop of the hotel where you had majestic views of the... More
