Dar Roumana is Stunningly beautiful, incredibly elegant,a real taste of Old World Fes, restored to perfection in perfect taste.More importantly , Vanessa, the owner, really knows how to provide unobtrussive, kind and generous service...no request is too much for her. And then there is their exclusive Restaurant, which I consider to be the finest Dining in Fes.Taking outside reservations except for... More

We had the most amazing, beautiful room of our recent stay in Morocco in Dar Roumana -- larger than most apartments with a four-poster bed and a huge bathtub. Absolutely fantastic public rooms and friendly but not overbearing care by managers Vanessa and her husband Vincent. But here is the most important point: Make sure you make reservations for dinner... More

Dar Roumana is simply exquisite. I never write reviews on Trip Advisor as I will only be repeating what other customers would say however I feel I need to share the great experience I had at Dar Roumana. I arrived with my partner and we were guided to the rooftop of the hotel where you had majestic views of the... More

Dar Roumana is a jewel of a restored mansion. We would sit in the courtyard and stare at the beauty of the carvings of 20 foot high cedar doors and exquisite tile work while enjoying a glass of wine in front of the fireplace. The rooms are elegant, large and perfectly decorated. We stayed in the one small suite, which... More

Vanessa and Victor run the most wonderful place to base yourself in beautiful, exotic Fes. Victor is not only charming and welcoming but a fantastic chef who provided a dining experience right up there with the other impressive meals we enjoyed during our stay. I hadn't expected such a vibrant and dynamic food scene from this city. The Dar is... More

An exquisite riad where most of the rooms open on to a central courtyard which is open to the sky in summer months. The restoration has been superb. The beautiful tiling and arches are matched by a friendly, attentive but not overbearing service. Breakfast consists of granola, yogurt, fresh fruit, lovely local fresh orange juice and traditional breads, Scrambled egg... More

This lovely Riad in the old city of Fez is unique.Hidden in a small lane you open the door to be greeted by a stunning traditional courtyard .2 of the rooms we had were off this main court yard which was a bit strange at first as you are literally sitting in the courtyard restaurant and you can see in... I really can't say enough about how wonderful the management at Dar Roumana is. This is the first place my fiancee and I stayed on a 10-day trip around Morocco and it truly was a great way to kick off the trip. The woman who runs the property was incredibly welcoming and helpful, she all but held our hand through... More

A veritable oasis on the edge of the medina in Fes, this small hotel has stunning public areas and rooms. Breakfast is served in the courtyard of the riad, and is a wonderful selection of fresh fruit and juice, baked goods, coffee and tea, and eggs cooked to order. The rooms are huge and are beautiful, unique, and roomy. Plenty... More

Can't rate this Dar and the management and staff more highly than previous positive reviews. Vanessa helped us plan our time well. The decorative detail was exquisite and reading how the Dar had been lovingly restored was interesting - a real labour of love. Loved the roof top terrace for great views and another space to relax. Easy Dar to... More
