My friends had booked out this riad for a special occasion and we were at first delighted by the building & ambience. This was soon marred by management asking for more money, several days after the account had been settled. At the time of payment, nothing was mentioned about us owing more and the fee had been agreed upon. They... More

When we first arrived we thought the house lovely, but then after a couple of days the owner and the housekeeper made our lives hell asking us for MORE money. We were told that we had to pay a tax on our wine that we bought with us. We were told that we couldn't use the kitchen to cook our... More

This Riad is stunning, tastefully done and an oasis to retreat to. However the management left us with a nasty taste in our mouths as they falsified additional costs and continued throughout our stay to tell them we owed them more even though the costs had been agreed to prior to our arrival. On our return to the airport our... More

While the Riad advertises that they take credit cards, the staff told us they would not accept a card. When we were unable to come up with cash because we had lost our card, they suddenly decided to take the credit card, but attempted to place a 5% fee on top of our total bill. While the owner was quite... More

Five nights during the Sufi music festival in April 2015 (b.t.w. would not necessarily recommend that particular festival again - and we have been to other, better Sufi festivals). Friendly welcome, attractively decorated room at the top, with view from terrace over the old town - and we were brought excellent breakfast to our room each day, so that we... More

My husband son and I stayed here in October 2013 and it was amazing. It was a safe haven from the outdoor chaos. The Souk is a scary place and being able to have this retreat was amazing. Relaxing and the staff are wonderful.

My girlfriend and I stayed here for a few days. The building is very nice, the rooms being clean and our room was spacious. We decided to order dinner in-riad one night and it was great - 30 euros was the cost, but we got a solid 4 course meal. After all the tangine we had eaten in Morocco, we... More

The Riad was beautiful , tranquil , in the center of the medina in Fes , had Wi-Fi if you must, and the food was great. Our room and balcony was a delight. The staff was helpful and pleasant and walked us to the riad when we arrived and to our car when we left .Stayed 2 nights was great.

It's a beautiful Riad, well designed and taken care off. The rooms are large, with high ceilings, great bathrooms, lots of hot water and good pressure. The breakfast is delicious, served either in the salon, the terrace or the library. The library has a large collection of books of Fez and Morocco. The staff was excellent, except for one that... In general the stay at the riad was ok, but unfortunately a number of incidents left a negative impression on me. Firstly immediately after arriving we were told that the rate we had been quoted on booking was incorrect, and we would need to pay more for the room. Secondly we realised we were put into a different room than... More
