We found all the staff very nice and helpful. The man on duty at check out, presumably owner, is quite rude, especially to his staff whom he loudly reprimanded in front of us which made us very uncomfortable. After checkout we felt he didn't want to attend to us. The hotel wasn't very busy but they gave us a bedroom... More

Typical of Morocco, the Riad is just an anonymous door down a blind alley. Ask a taxi driver for "medina Batha" (say Bat-ha) and then ask to be guided by a local (pay 20 dh-ish). You can soon find it again. Inside is a beautiful double courtyard riad, delightfully decorated and very good example of why people come to Morocco.... More

This hotel with its traditional architecture and interior is conveniently located for the medina, the Batha and local transport. It's a bit tricky to find the first time(!), but easy enough to find again. It's tremendously atmospheric, and it is clear that the owner and his staff care very much about the building and the guests. The housekeeping is spotless,... More

A wonderful place to stay!! Very gracious and helpful hosts made our stay in Fes an unforgettable one. A clean and comfortable riad that has been beautifully restored. Our breakfasts and dinners here were the best we've had during our two weeks in Morocco.

When you go to an Medieval city like Fes, Morocco, you want the full authentic experience. So when my friend and I were looking for a hotel there, we wanted to stay in a Riad (a traditional Moroccan house or palace with an interior garden or courtyard.) We looked around and found Dar Al Andalous, located right on the edge... More

The interior of this Dar is really amazing, beautifully restored and very atmospheric - we wanted somewhere really Moroccan for the night before we flew home: this was perfect. Finding it was a truly Moroccan experience too, we failed, even with maps and then telephone instructions and had to pay a local volunteer to take us there (always MORE than... More

The hotel it was clean, well organized, friendly staff and amazing host. We had a great time in this hotel, I would recommend for everybody. Here you can find delicious breakfast, lunch and dinner. The accommodation is located in an accessible area of the Medina.

Stayed here for a night with my mum. Room (twin room) was small compared to Raid we stayed in Marrakesh, (but this place was a lot cheaper, so I guess it is reflected on price). No hair dryer in the room but hotel will lend you one if you request it. My mum's bed was little uncomfortable, (may need a... More

Dar Al Andalous is truly wonderful - a beautiful oasis in the madness that is Fez. I've traveled extensively and can easily say that my stay at Dar Al Andalous was one of the best lodging experiences I've ever had. Mohammed and his wife go above and beyond to ensure guests have everything they need. Sightseeing was great and then... More

Search no further for a wonderful hotel in Fes. Traveling as a family of four, the owners treated us like family as if we were old friends coming to visit. On the outside, the hotel is modest and hidden within the Medina, traditional of most Moroccan riads. The inside however is quite beautiful as the building itself was once a... More
