This riad is so easy to find. close to the old Medina. Wwhen you walk in its so lovely and clean. Its much cleaner than other riads, and value for money. The room was fantastic. Well decorated with a TV and fridge but not a great deal of drinking water! The bathroom was nice but no shower curtain. You can... more

The dingy alley location is a stark contrast to the beauty of this guest house. It is magnificently restored, but the current management seems more focused on maximizing revenue, than on providing a great experience to the guests. Our driver was unable to find the riad and they did not answer their fone during the afternoon of our arrival, when... more

Riad Al Andalous is a charming riad in the heart of Fes, a few minutes walk from the main gate of the old city. The inner courtyard is stunning, with fountains and ornate tile work, giving a glimpse of the splendour of homes in this ancient medina. The rooms are something out of an Arabian tale, with draping fabrics and... more

This is a really remarkable find. The place is so beautiful, all the rooms are traditional Moroccan style. The staff right from the owners to the maids are warm and friendly, we felt we were visiting family. Don't be put off when you first get dropped off, the area is not what you might call the usual Tourist spot, you... more

We stayed at the Dar Al Andalous on a 3 day pleasure trip to Fez. While the place is nice it is overrated and was clearly at the bottom of our list after staying in 2 other superior riads earlier in the week. It is a very old building, not unusual but it was still looking tired after a 2... more

The staff and owners were very gracious and welcoming. Immediately upon arrival, we were greeted with mint tea and sympathetic ears to an unfortunate incident we had in Rabat. They even upgraded us to a room with a terrace. The rooms are clean and come with a heater. There was also a safe, though I never could get it to... more

This riad is absolutely lovely - a very Moroccan inn. The location is great - we were able to walk to many places, but it was hard to find. A word of advice to first time travelers to any larger Moroccan city: get a detailed street map in advance (Googlearth is not enough)! The weather was cold and rainy while... more

Zahra and the rest of the staff gave us such a warm welcome and couldn't have been more friendly and helpful. We really were made to feel as though this was our home from home. The hotel's courtyard is beautiful and our spacious room was gorgeous, with sofas, a four-poster bed and exquisite zellij (tiles). The bathroom, too, was lovely.... more

This riad was the highlight of our stay in Morocco. From the spectacular traditional Moroccan interiors to the outstanding four course dinners our expectations were surpassed in every aspect. The riad is very centrally located - no more than five minutes walk to the souqs - and the kindness and hospitality that we were shown by Kadiri Mohammed and his... more
