Fes was our last destination in Morocco. By the time we arrived at Riad Numero 9, we had stayed at riads in 2 other cities. Riad Numero 9 was not only more attractive and intimate, but the attentiveness and service made us feel like royalty. Don't miss it!

Exquisite riad. My girlfriend and I have just spent a wonderful time in this jewel, wonderfully decorated, and offering an excellent view on the Medina. Special attention shall be drawn on Atika's warmth and sence of hospitality. A place you'll definitely to stop by to take advantage of Fès as it shall.

If anyone has an opportunity to visit the fantastic medina in Fes, Morocco, I cannot urge you strongly enough to stay overnight at a riad; in this particular case Riad9. If you are not familiar with what a 'riad' is look it up on Google or similar search engine. Hotels cannot compare in any form to the riad. Riad9 is... More

Riad 9 is a beautifully and lovingly restored home in the middle of Fez' medina... and it is just that, a home. I stayed their for three nights with my family, including my discerning but adventurous parents, after reading about it in DuJour magazine. We sincerely enjoyed living in an authentic structure, re-imagined with Stephen's whimsical vision. Each meal was... More

My wife and I along with another couple of friends stayed at Riad Numero 9 our first night in Fes. We were exhausted after a long redeye flight from NYC, a layover in Madrid and a subsequent 6 hour car ride after landing in Casablanca. We arrived in Fez in time for a late dinner. We were travelling with a... More

Fes and Numero 9 were a first stop on our first time visit to Morocco. We had no clue, really, what to expect. Turns out Fes is the real Morocco -- frenetic, chaotic, noisy, gritty and, ultimately, charming. Numero 9 is well located near both primary thoroughfares. The riad is exquisitely restored, beautifully appointed with an occasional quirky touch, and... More

My husband and I just returned from a magical stay at riad 9 in Fez. I can't recommend riad 9 highly enough. It is centrally located in the Medina, beautifully restored, and decorated with owner Stephen's art director's deft touch that combines great comfort with a fun eclectic style . We felt like we were stepping into a beautiful magazine... More

My man and I had an incredible time at Riad 9 this September. The owner Stephen made our reservation process very easy and even had his driver pick us up from the car rental company on the other side of the city. The two wonderful ladies, Atika and her sister Kitoum, took such great care of us and made our... More

My first time to Morocco was pleasantly punctuated by this genuine hospitality experience. We emailed Stephen directly to enquire about availability, and he always provided prompt responses, even warning us of the fact that they have 2 cats and some goldfish on site. We were 4 girls in our late 20s traveling together as an atypical bachelorette celebration. We arrived... More
