If you realize that the average good meal in Fez outside the tourist hang-outs runs roughly 40-90 dirham--the latter already expensive by local standards--your would think that a meal at Maison Bleue that averages 500 dirham (minus alcohol) would get you an extraordinary meal in an extraordinary venue. Alas, neither is true. The meal consisted of a set of four... more

Spent 3 nights here & ate here twice and the bill was over £1,100. The most dissapointing place I have ever stayed at. Billed as top class luxury I knew it would be expensive, but the surcharge at check out of £45 a night for double occupany was a shock and the last nail in the coffin of honesty. I... more

I went to Fez with my wife. We went to Riad Maison Bleue. it's near the old city. Even the locals tell you not to venture outside at night. it's a scary neighborhood. The old city is what you want to visit during the day and not at night. If you decide to stay there, make sure you don't leave... more

We stayed in room OUM KALTOUM. Absolutely gorgeous! The staff was so accomodating. The service was excellent! The room and the Riad was absolutely amazing! The location was great as well, really close to the souks! Only regret was that I wish we could have stayed longer. more

We arrived on a cold, dark, wet December evening. We entered through an ordinary looking door into an extraordinary space. The Riad was beautiful, lovely decor and tasteful furniture. Our room was everything we had expected and more, it was large with a good sized bathroom and proper bath. The bowl of fruit and plates of local pastires was very... more

This place is highly recommended, mostly because it does not operate like a luxury hotel but more like a very comfortable house with inconspicuous staff taking care of your needs. We stayed there for 3 nights and loved the tranquil place, which is in stark contrast to the medina - so relaxing. We also tried out the spa and loved... more

The Riad Maison Bleue provides an excellent base from which to explore Fes and nearby Meknes and Volubilis. Its easily accessible by car yet close to the centre of the medina, so you can walk everywhere. The Riad is tucked away behind a discreet doorway and provides real seclusion; a haven from the bustling souks. Our suite was spacious, the... more

We traveled to Fes on our honeymoon and I was very impressed with the staff at Riad Maison Bleue, they really seemed keen that we not only enjoyed our stay with them, but that we also got the best of of Fes by arranging guides not only to Fes but also for a day trip. The Riad itself was beautiful... more
