We were on a Cosmos tour of Morocco. I’ll list the hotels we stayed at as this differed from those given by Cosmos at the time of booking: Marrakech – Opera Plaza Hotel; Casablanca – Ibis City Center; Fez – Zalagh Parc Palace; Erfoud – Kasbah Tizimi; Ouarzazate – Ibis Moussafir; finally returning to the Opera Plaza hotel in Marrakech.... I don't believe this is a 5 star hotel. The decor is very very Moroccan, with a large lobby downstairs where you can spend time, because there is nothing else nearby. Very far from the city--need to take a cab anywhere. The halls all twist and turn which is pretty funny. The bed wasn't the best and I personally hated... More

Lovely big room and balcony and clean. Shower worked and got washing done on tour. Sadly music didn't finish until 12.07a.m. and really needed sleep. 'Music' I use loosely as traditional and should be kept to open spaces as suitable for gun waving tribesmen. Next night quiet and slept really well. Out of town so really missed the atmosphere of... This hotel is definitely a 3 star at best. Very basic property, caters mostly to large tour groups. Lobby is nicely done with Moroccan inspired decor. Staff is friendly. Rooms are large but very basic. This hotel works well if you are not planning to spend too much time there. Rate is reasonable and included the meals. Food was o.k,... More

A pleasant hotel with courteous staff, pleasant rooms and good food. Unfortunatelythe hotel is a bit far from the centre and especially the Medina for which Fez is known for. We were in a group and everyone enjoyed their stay.

Honestly, you walk in and look up and you think oh how beautiful the ceiling and lighting are but then you look around and it really is just sad. It is listed as a 5 star hotel but it is not. While our room was clean, again there was major wear and tear and stains and poor construction in our... More

The Zalagh Parc Palace is a 5-star hotel... I have no idea why... It's not a terrible hotel, the lobby is quite nice and the food is good. However, the rest of the hotel is very unclean. We had to ask for our pillows to be replaced since the ones we got where full of hair leftover from the past... More

The Zalagh Parc Palace looks stunning, especially the lobby. However, this is it, everything else is either outdated, or not being used at all. The hotel is massive, but there were barely a few people staying there when we were there in Dec 14. It felt sad, but then the hotel is not doing itself any justice. Its management is... More

This hotel is absolutely lovely. I really enjoyed the lobby with older Moroccan tea set, mosaic tiles, lounge rooms, & Moroccan styled rooms. For New Years 2015, they had dancers in the lobby, an amazing dinner, great mint tea, and exceptional service. Warm rooms and a lovely time. Breakfast could have been a little better but their pastries and fresh... More

I went to this hotel as part of a round trip, so this hotel was booked by somebody else but me. I stayed two nights, and although it is situated a bit outside of the city, it is really a nice hotel. The room I got was spacious and clean as well. There are a couple of restaurants, but I... More
