Dar rbab is spectacular, an immaculent clean place with really good water pressure and hot water to last for ages. Me and my friend Blake talked Mohammed down on the price of one of the second story rooms from 380 MAD to 300 MAD, the price is definitely negotiable especially in May which is kind of the off season. The... More

During my recent three week visit to Fes, i slept in eleven different riads and dars. Dar Rbab was one of the less enjoyable stays. The location of this dar is Zkak Romane area which is kind of hard to fine in the medina and its a very local neighborhood. I arrived at a time earlier confirmed by my message,... More

I'm very sorry you didn't enjoy your stay at Dar Rbab. I think you can tell from the other reviews that your experience was in no way typical. If you would like to return to Fes, please come and stay at our expense and we hope you'll see the real Dar Rbab. More

In January 2014 I spent some night in this place, while wandering around the old town and visiting nearby Meknes and Volubilis. I arrived after dark and Mark already told me Dar Rbab was not easy to find. Ignore the guys offering to help you, because from Bab Guissa it's not far. The guys working in shops and teahouses can... We were taken by the riad administrator from the median gate so a telephone prior to arriving there is recommended. The place is like a museum, kept original, you can feel the real moroccan style everywhere. Go for the food cooked in house by the lovely Leila (I hope I got the name right). thanks for the good music played in... More

My family and I visited Dar rbab for lunch today and had a very lovely experience. The staff were attentive and welcoming and while we practiced our French the staff was also fluent in English. The building is a lovely 800 year old home in the Medina and is well kept (lovingly so) with a strong aesthetic as well as... More

We liked: Great location - minutes walk from the main souk and easy enough to find, and there's a small shop at the end of the street which was a godsend when we arrived on Friday night when all the restaurants were closed. We were given a key to the main door and our room, and felt very secure inside... More

We stayed in the red room of the riad, which we booked for 4 nights. Unfortunately we decided to leave after two nights for the following reasons: - Despite it being a small riad and not a hotel, we were not given any advice at arrival or visit of the riad, or a welcome tea to discuss the history of... We do normally offer guests tea on arrival. Equally, we do our best to orientate our guests within the medina. But, we are a very small business and it is possible that in this instance it didn't happen. To be fair to us, it is a free service. We've covered the subject of our bathrooms before here. They were designed,... More

We spent 3 nights at Dar Rbab, and due to my gluten free diet, felt it wise to eat breakfast and dinner here, especially as I was particular about not only eating traditional Moroccan cuisine, but not having to worry about dietary difficulties. There is a very relaxed feel about this Riad, and a freedom to move around which was... More

The room was comfortable and the aircon was a lifesaver for us during August, the hottest month of the year! Mohammad was always there to assist us with anything and everything during our stay. He also arranged a guide, Abdul, to bring us around the medina. Abdul was really engaging and protective of us as we walked around the medina.... More

7 friends, last stage of our Morocco's tour. This riad is great, we really enjoy the hours here, especially thanks to the advices of Mohamed, the housekeeper, who has been always at our disposal. The position is good, all the highlights of the Medina are easily reachable by walking. The only negative things are the bathrooms: really simple and severe,... More
