What a great place! The France/Moroccan owner is really nice! He even has red wine!!! We felt really welcome. The food is also really great and good priced. The rooms are big and in a lovely style! Only our bedroom had a smelly problem. But the tried everything to solve this.

Riad l'Artiste is on a quiet street close to the Old City Medina (about 7-10mins walk). The raid is stunning to look at, clean, and the rooms (Africaine, Laura Hind) were spacious and well presented and both had (much-needed) A/C! Hotel manager and his assistant were very friendly and went out of their way to make our visit pleasurable (i.e.... More

Location- simply discoverable, secure parking nearby. Very helpful and pleasant host. Marvelous and cozy house, big rooms, ultra clean. Amazing details, very romantic. A large roof terrace with beautiful views over the medina. Super!

Close your eyes and fly away on a magic carpet to the land of the Secret Palace - Riad L'Artiste - the "Hidden Jewel" of Fez. And here, while you chill, your senses will be transported to higher levels of perception, and sensibility. And, I must add, once experienced, never forgotten. Majestically Artistic in an informal and beautiful way. And,... More

We had a lovely stay at this riad. Our room was incredibly big and beautifully decorated and the breakfast each morning was lovely. Nice roof terrace. It's in a good location, close to the medina, although it is on the opposite side to Bab Bou Jeloud (the Blue Gate) which is somewhat considered the 'main' enterance to the medina. The... More

Very nice and helpful staff. Location in the medina, close to its border, so it's easier to find. Breakfast somewhat poor by European standards (no sausages, eggs, or omelette). No elevator, just narrow stairs (this might be difficult for the people who are not physicaly fit...), but this is because the building is not modern!

The Riad was excellent and the bedrooms large and comfortable (we had the Ceder Suite which we loved). The breakfast is a nice mix of European and Moroccan food and the evening meals are really good. Said was an excellent host! He arranged taxis to and from the airport for us and even arranged a taxi for our day trip... More

This Riad is really nice but a couple of things happened which left us very unimpressed. I contacted the owner of the Riad before arriving in Fes and asked if he could arrange a guide for us. I asked for an official guide, approved by the ministry of tourism who speaks Italian (as the majority of our group were Italians).... More

The place is great and the rooms are very big and very elegant. Really chep compared to how beautifull it is. Sure I'd come back here. Btw not a place if u want to have fun o meet people. Quite in silent and cold situation specially in the evening.

We enjoyed our stay at Riad L'Artiste. It's a typical Moroccan riad with all the woodwork, decor and tiles that comes with it. Our host, Zakariyah and the owner, Said were very helpful and friendly. We ordered things at random times of the day and even had requests for meals they don't usually make and they made it happen. They're... More
