Fes can be a bit overwhelming with its narrow lanes and noise, and Riad Anata is the perfect escape while visiting there. You walk in the front door and are transported to an oasis of calm and beauty. Valerie has done an amazing job creating a perfect boutique hotel experience with gorgeous decor and an incredibly attentive staff. We had... More

We stayed at the riad Anata and it was simply beautiful; an oasis amongst the throng of the medina. Mohammad was a very gracious host and was a great source of support and more than willing to accompany us when we were uncertain about dealing with touts. Dinner and breakfast was sensational and we would definitely return and recommend it... More

Fes started on the right foot. When we arrived at the train station, we flagged a cab that did not start with an outrageous fee. The best surprise was the next day when the cab driver switched on his meter! No haggle, no hassle, honest rates! What a refreshing change from downright grit and taxi scammers in Marrakesh! Now on... More

We loved our stay at Riad Anata. It was slow week when we stayed and we were basically the only people in the riad and love it. The staff are super duper friendly and helpful! They were all amazing and genuinely attentive to all our questions. It is also located a few minutes walk from the main attractions of Fes.... More

My husband and I came back from a trip to Morocco and the hospitality from the team at Riad Anata was second to none. Mustafa and Ismail were so genuinely friendly and really went out of their way to make sure we were well. The riad is beautifully designed to mix both Moroccan and contemporary design and our room was... More

This was our first experience with a Riad and we could not have been happier. From the tea and pastries upon check in to the quiet break from the bustling medina it was truly a respite from the city outside the door. The service at Riad Anata could not have been better. They are really there to make your stay... More

We only stayed here for one night however it was such a welcoming experience. We had just come from the Sahara desert which was such a long excursion that it was nice to come back to a place like this. The rooms were fantastic. It was unseasonably cold for Morocco but they had heaters in the room - not just... More

We stayed in Fes and booked riad Anata and did not know what to expect. The property is outstanding and beautifully decorated with all amenities a Riad needs. Location is perfect just on the outskirts of the Medina. The food is top notch. However, he most important aspect was the staff. The two gentlemen (M & M to not name... More

If you are in Fes and want a truly unique experience you should consider doing a cooking class with Samira. She first took us into the street markets of the Medina to buy the ingredients for the dish we had chosen to cook. Then back to the Riad to prepare the meal. She is very enthusiastic and loves to share... More
