Good Hotel. Staff is quite helpful. A big plus point is that the staff can communicate effectively in English, as non-French speaking travelers can experience a little difficulty in Morocco. The lobby is very impressive. Rooms are clean and moderately sized, but not really five star quality. Has an excellent swimming pool and a good piano bar. Grounds are quite... more

Not quite the 5 star it might have been in the late eighties but nonetheless an excellent hotel with friendly staff, all the usual conveniences, and a private balcony for each room overlooking either the gardens or the pool. The hotel has several restaurants and bars that were great for us as we were just staying here on the nights... more

Besides the location, which is OK (centre of Fes), nothing good to say about this hotel I have had much better rooms and meals in 2* hotels, all over the world TV remote control missing, broken toilet seat, carpets with dozen of stains All the furniture is old, weared, and ready for TRASH The so-called SPA is unbelievable - a... more

Ok so I did not know what to expect from a 5* hotel in Morocco and to be honest it was only for me to rest my head after a days work. However the hotel felt very dated and really could do with a refirbish of the bed rooms. The Lobby and the Communal areas were very nice and more... more

I stayed in September 2006 in a standard double room. General impression is that it could be a 4 star but absolutely not 5 star. The room was big, with a nice balcony facing the huge garden which is nice too. The furniture appeared a bit dated and in some cases the maintenance had to be improved (e.g. some dirty... more

The hotel is ok, but is not a 5-star hotel (or even a 4-star hotel). It is huge and shared areas are good and well maintained, but rooms are old and not very clean. The hotel was for sure a great hotel in the past, but it needs complete refurbishing now. There are three different restaurants inside the whole complex.... more

This hotel was amazing! We stayed here for three nights in August. The grounds and common areas are just beautiful - gorgeous tile, woodwork and stained glass. The pool area surrounded by palm trees was serene. Service was fine. The ONLY downside was the air conditioning in the room - it was barely existent! Probably about 85 degrees in the... more

Slightly out of the way (getting a petit taxi to the main sights means a short walk) but difficult to fault - I'd say a reasonable four star, but never five star. The staff were friendly and helped when asked, the breakfast eclectic (where everything was moved every day, but hey, this is Morocco), the other restaurants variable. The main... more
