This hotel has been the worst! Yes they gave me a room on the front side, a room on the backside by the way is not worth any of your money. Unfortunately the room smelled, simply beacause of the old carpets, nothing can beat that moldy smell. THe view is very nice, i guess that is the reason why many... More

Les Mérinides enjoys a proud position overlooking the old city and is a draw for people coming to have drinks and take photographs of the impressive views. I enjoyed my three day stay but when groups were also using the hotel I at times felt marginalised, particularly in the dining room. The staff are pleasant and the accommodation comfortable and... After climbed the tomb of Merinides for amazing sunset pictures we retired to the hotel bar of Les Merinides. The view of Fes el Bali was breathtaking at sunset and hearing the adhan, call to prayer, was magical. The bar prices are compatible and you wont overpay compared to other bars in Fes (with no view!). i.e., 40 Dhirams for... More

Professional in dealing and the integration of the service. I can say, the hotel is semi integrated has been missing some critical facilities, but at the processing level is good. with experience in handling (reception, requests, and restaurant, laundry facilities, meetings, security) with reasonable prices for the services . There is one problem which is the sound of barking dogs... More

After a long and bumpy motorcycle ride from Chefchaoun, the hotel and it's incredible view were breathtaking! If this place doesn't make you feel royal and special, you need to get out of Morocco! :) Take the quick cab ride down to the Blue Gate for a deeper understanding of what it's like to be in Morocco.

Only spent a few hours here in the bar......great ambiance with fantastic views but oh the service in the bar was third class. The table service waiter was too interested in watching TV thus i repeatedly had to get up and be served at the actual bar [where the barmen was also watching TV or chatting to friends.

Billed as a a five star hotel, I found this hotel a little lacking. More like a four star. It did have great views over the medina, though rooms and decor all could do with a freshen up. Service at breakfast was a little hit and miss with the omelette/ pancake bar forgetting to make order.

we stopped here foe two nights on our tour of Morocco. Firstly the room had a tremendous view of the old city, especially goof at night. The restaurant had a simple menu but the food was reasonable both in price and portion size. The terrace overlooking the city was magical at night, the bar service a little slow but the... More

We recently organized a conference at the hotel Les Merinides and thus I spent one week mostly at the hotel (including lunch, dinner and coffee break). Just as the rest of our group I was very satisfied with the overall quality of the hotel, be it with the furniture and cleanliness of room and bathroom, the quality of the food... More

Being on top of a hill, this hotel gives a magnificent view of the whole old medina. One has to drive through certain uphill areas to arrive to the excluded final portion of the city bringing you to the hotel. The employees of the hotel are all very polite and adequately do their job in a sincere manner. The employees... More
