The best thing about hotel Batha is that it is located in the old town of Fez. On walking distance of restaurant area ( be prepared for some hasseling because everyone wants to get you in their restaurant!!) The staff is very friendly and very helpfull and wants to find good solutions to all your answers. The rooms are good,... More

Hotel Batha is situated right in the middle of the most fascinating Medina of Marocco. It has clean and airco rooms and the swimming pool is refreshing after the walks. But the staff is lazy and they only want to send you, as all Fèz people, to their restaurant so they can make money. Around the corner there are some... More

I visit the Fes festival every year and this time decided to stay at the Batha hotel, since it's situated in two steps from two of the principal venues and not far from the rest of the festival sites. Also all Medina is easily accessible from it. Good swimming pool, the hotel is quite and the personnel friendly and competent.... More

This place has lots of character, albeit rather 70s. Very friendly and helpful staff. Rooms and bathrooms clean and well cared for. Plenty of communal seating in the courtyard with bar and swimming pool. Breakfast buffet was good and varied. Great location only a few minutes from the Blue Gate. Recommended. Stay away if you want a swanky soulless hotel!

The hotel has a beautiful coloured window, beautiful wooden staircase and an extreme helpfull staff. The colored tiles, the cleanliness, what more can one want. The room is neat and rather big, and the courtyard spectaculair. If you want a modern, cold, state of the art hotel: stay away! But if you are a romantic soul and you are able to... More

I took a group of university student to Morocco and in Fes, we stayed here. It is close to shopping and the old city. While just outside of the gates of the old city, it is however quite some distance from the souk, or market. Rooms were clean and comfortable. There is a bar and several large seating area to... It was clean and cheap with a lovely courtyard - I read this was a former British garrison of some sort. The bedrooms are circa 1970 and our room key working for the wrong room so beware. There is clean looking pool that I did not use. Good location to explore medina from.

The hotel was well located just outside of the medina and had a licensed bar for those westerners who are getting a bit parched. There was an out of season feel to it a bit like the shining, but without the ghosts and gore! The restaurant provided the usual tagines and couscous with limited veggie options. Breakfast was bread cake... More

We booked this hotel with our flights based on a description in a guide book that must be outdated! It is in the 'riad' courtyard style with the rooms situated around an open courtyard and in its heyday, I'm sure was lovely, but it has now become rather rundown. On the plus side it was very clean, but there were... More

We ended up at Hotel Batha by accident after the Riad we were meant to be staying in was closed. We had somehow been left in the middle of the Medina with no hotel so finding Hotel Batha was a relief. We were pleasantly surprised by the size of the rooms, although they were a little basic and the bathroom... More
