We stayed here for two nights - and changed rooms after the first one, because the noise from the street had kept us awake. The second room was not only much quieter, but also bigger and more comfortably furnished. It drove home the fact that the first room had actually been quite grubby. Many of the rooms seem to have... This worn hotel is a decent value for the money. That's about all I can say. The location is good, just 100 meters from the Medina and within walking distance of top sights. Breakfast is included, but it's hardly worth the effort. We were turned away when we returned to the breakfast "buffet" for more cheese - the only source... More

I didn't spend the night, but did have a meal and a drink at the restaurant/bar. The courtyards are beautiful and the location of the hotel is nice - very close to the medina and well within walking distance of the new city. I will stay here in the future.

We enjoyed staying at this hotel. We were off-season, so it was fairly quiet, but we found it well located, within easy walking distance of medina, markets and restaurants. Everything was immaculately clean. The interior seating area was lovely and peaceful, though wifi was patchy, and there's a little bar for the odd alcoholic tipple. I didn't try the pool.... More

Not impressed with this hotel at all. We stayed here for two nights on an Explore Adventure holiday. We had a room on the front corner of the hotel, it was noisy and not very clean. We put the heating on as it was cold but the fan did not work on it and we were too scared to leave... More

Stayed here on or way to the Atlas mountains for 2 nights. Any longer and we would have changed hotels. The rooms were dusty and unswept. There were cockroaches for company. The vanity unit and shower tiling was cracked and mouldy. The rooms need to be completely stripped out and refurbished. I see there are similar comments here from 2010!... More

Our criteria for choosing a hotel in Fes were: near the Medina so we could do everything on foot, airconditioning and a pool. All these boxes were ticked, however, a part from the nice entrance and little mosaic fountain area, the rest was really rather ageing and tired. We had two ground floor rooms, both of which had a peculiar... More

The best thing about hotel Batha is that it is located in the old town of Fez. On walking distance of restaurant area ( be prepared for some hasseling because everyone wants to get you in their restaurant!!) The staff is very friendly and very helpfull and wants to find good solutions to all your answers. The rooms are good,... More

Hotel Batha is situated right in the middle of the most fascinating Medina of Marocco. It has clean and airco rooms and the swimming pool is refreshing after the walks. But the staff is lazy and they only want to send you, as all Fèz people, to their restaurant so they can make money. Around the corner there are some... More
