The Hotel Batha is nice enough, and in a great location. It is too expensive for what you get, considering the bathrooms need major work and supposedly they limit the times you can have a hot shower. The pool was really nice, the courtyard very pretty, and our bedroom was very clean and had an air conditioner that worked some,... more

it's in a convenient location, the rooms are clean-ish and with some Moroccan decor. However the restaurant is a rip-off. The food for dinner was terrible (we ate only the first night), the service was terrible (slow) and then they didn't include drinks and overcharged from what are the normal rates in Morocco. They said nothing about it, and we... more

Sadly the room we stayed in was not exactly clean, the bathroom stank and was never really cleaned during our 3 day stay. We made the mistake of eating there our first night and were really disapointed with the "Moroccan food" with hot sauce from Louisiana (I kid you not!!!). We were told at the front desk that the meal... more

I stayed in the Hotel Batha (baTTAH!) for about a week. I had a lovely time. The hotel is located in the most perfect location if you want to enjoy the Medina. You just walk for five minutes and you are in the midst of the narrow streets and amazing shopping of the Medina. However it is also well placed... more

This hotel looks much nicer from the outside than it is from the inside. I stayed here because I was new to Morocco, was travelling alone, and had used the Lonely Planet guide's recommendation. I found the front desk staff to be quite rude and unhelpful, even though they half pretended they were interested. One of the local taxi drivers... more

The hotel is well situated between the Medina and the Mella. It is near all the attractions and resteraunts. The check in was smooth and the room spotless. The sunken baths are a bit dificult to get in and out off. The breakfast is ordinary. Hot water in morning and evening. Heating and aircon wonderful. This hotel is excelent value... more

Even though this hotel has its limitations, I would clearly recommend it. While the rooms are nothing fancy, I can not confirm some of the other complaints here. It was a cold winter 2008 and my room had a good heating which is a great asset in Morocco. My room was clean but nothing fancy and worn. The bedsheets have... more

Hotel Batha is conveniently located near the medina (which is difficult to get out of on your own). Food and wine are overpriced...wine is 5 times more expensive than super marche. I traveled with a group of about 20 people. Most rooms were adequate. Mine was worn and had no heat. Beware the marble courtyards inside the hotel in the... more

The location of the hotel cannot be faulted and if it wasnt so good i wouldnt even consider recomending this hotel to anybody. I don't want to sound too harsh, the staff where pleasant enough and the hotel courtyard is a nice place to be but what matters more to me is the quality of the room. My room was... more

Coming from Meknes, we reserved by phone (with our precious Lonely Planet guide book) for 3 nights but we stayed only one... I agree that the courtyard is nice but the room are out dated. Just by the look, you can be concern by the cleanliness. The bed sheet were coming already with holes and hairs from somebody else.... (but... more
