While the hotel grounds were beautiful, and so is the view, I don't recommend staying in this hotel. Stay in a riad that is a better value and more authentic. This hotel was dramatically more expensive than any of the riads we stayed at while in Morocco and we enjoyed it so much less. We would up only staying one... more

My husband and I just returned from 2 weeks in Morocco. Planes, trains and automobiles, we got around. Our basis thoughts of the country are that it is beautiful, and the people hospitable, but the tourist industry workers made the trip difficult. Everywhere we went, it seemed everyone just wanted a piece of us. It's exhausting, and my husband is... more

We stayed for one week in a room with a Medina view - worth the extra cost as the view from our balcony was one of the best ever! The bedroom was spacious and the bathroom included robes, slippers and toiletries. The only slight downside was the occasional slow appearance of hot water. The room was thoroughly cleaned each day... more

I had to go t Fez a few times and I had unfortunately stayed at the Palais Jamaii more than once as this was the hotel booked for me. About cleaning: I once found old used towels from previous guest in my bathroom, once the bathtub was not at all cleaned. The staff is so SLOW and RUDE it's crazy!!... more

We just returned home from a seven days trip to Morocco. After spending the first night in Casablanca, we spent three nights in Fes and then three nights in Marrakech. I regret my first night in Casablanca and I wish we had gone directly to Fes. Casablanca is just another BIG city and we didn't feel we were really in... more

I should say at the outset that I've lived in Fez on an off for almost 12 months over the last five years. I decided to stay at the Palais Jamais on my last two days before returning to the US for an extended period. Although I've seen a lot of questionable hotel practices in Fez and Morocco on general,... more

I stayed at Palais Jamais last week. It was a great experience. Staff is professional and courteous. The rooms are decorated in modern, Moroccan style. The beds are the most comfortable I have ever experienced! I didnt want to get out of bed!! The view from my room was breathtaking (rm 115). French windows opened to a stunning view of... more

If you like to have a good shower in the morning, don't go there !!! We had two rooms. One had no hot water, the other no pressure. The hotel is beautiful, on the hill, with a nice view of the city. However it needs urgently a renovation. The restaurant is nothing specila, with limited selection. more
