Was slightly hard to find the hotel. Taxi charged 150 Dirhams from airport to the blue gate and then another 50 dirhams to take suitcases to the doorstep as it is in the middle of the fes el bali (old madina). The next morning, we met people from the airport that had also travelled and they had to catch a... More

Follow the directions, because it is hard to find. A friendly guy on a motorcycle took us to the underground parking and helped us find the place. It is in an dark alley and off the beaten path. We were greeted by Unis and he gave us some tea while he made sure the room was ready. The location is... More

we had a great stay, but be prepared if u enter the medina to find it. It's not that hard if u follow the directions, so u don't need a guide, but u need directions, and those are the directions: Enter the medina through Bab Bouljoud (resist all the food-sellers) and follow to the right. After one slight right turn,... More

Wow - what a great experience. We arrived VERY early in the morning and were met by Unis at 6am! He greeted us warmly and led us to the dar. Being we arrived on a night bus, he knew we were exhausted and immediately set us up in a room off the common area (with the most comfortable bed ever)... More

A riad that fully reflects the Moroccan tradition, you have to find an owner available for any need and information. Excellent location. Room was comfortable and clean.

Anyone who has reviewed this riad with positive experiences must have stayed in a completely different place.Booked a single room in Octomber for four nights using booking.com and I got an enormous price, 30/Euro/night.Very soon , the manager Mohammed El Mouttaki wrote an email with a proposal, to pick me from the station or the airport. Two days before my arrival... It was fairly close to the Blue Gate entrance so it wasn't as hard to find as other hotels further in the medina. The manager (I think) was very helpful and offered information on sites to see, bus information, etc. We thought that the breakfast was lacking as it was only bread items – 1 Moroccan pancake each, 1 Vache... Stayed 2 nights at €33 per night in a fairly basic high ceilinged single room with attached bathroom. Mattress a little on the firm side but provided a good sleep. Small sitting area. Room had aircon and WIFI also worked well at all times. Nice view from the terrace and the downstairs sitting area also very nice. Breakfast included was... More

Stayed here a year ago (thought I wrote a review but obviously did not hit the right 'send' button and after showing friends just now this little gem realised my mistake!!). Please stay here, you would be foolish not to! The family and staff running this place make it a perfect little experience and something that I shall always take... More

This is a traditional Moroccan Riad. Definitely a must to stay and experience a Riad when you're in Morocco. I really had a wonderful experience with this guesthouse. It is a family own place. All the staffs here are family members. They're all so helpful and friendly. You definitely will feel safe when you're staying here. They're just so accommodating... More
