This review is long overdue. We stayed at Riad Idrissy early April 2015 with our 7-year-old son and we had the best time. Our son is very active so we brought a soccer ball from home and as luck would have it the little square outside the Riad is a gathering spot for like-minded local boys. Our son kicked the... More

It's hard to imagine a more beautiful, tranquil or expertly run hotel than Riad Idrissy. Everyone who worked here was friendly and helpful and provided extra touches that made it so special. And the food! We ate at Riad Idrissy three nights out of four and every meal was wonderful. Robert could write the book on being a perfect host.... More

Wow. We stumbled upon Idrissy’s restaurant our first night in Fes and decided to change our accommodation to them. The staff positively overwhelmed us to feel layers of appreciation and gratitude. They continued to surprise us in the amazing details of our 3night stay. Everything was literally perfect. Nothing missing. Wildly exceeded expectations, in every way. The people, the food,... More

We were so incredibly happy that we chose to stay at the Riad Idrissy The rooms, the service, the food, the staff were all top notch. The building, rooms and restoration are amazing and must be experienced. The attached Ruined Garden makes it the most authentic and perfect Riad in Fez!

We had a great time staying at this riad in Fes - othet than the ambiance being relaxing and beautiful (restored mansion with lovely garden, courtyards and terraces), the staff was SO helpful. We had a million questions and concerns as we were taking an overnight train to Marrakech the next night and they accomodated our every need, always with... More

Riad Idrissy was the absolutely perfect place to rest and rewind. The riad has been beautifully restored to combine the ancient and the modern. There are delightful little touches everywhere you look. Add to that free wifi and a panoramic rooftop view over the city. And the breakfasts! They're fresh and delicious and will keep you stuffed for the rest... More

We spent 3 nights at the Riad Idrissy / Ruined Garden and loved every minute! The service was superb - very high touch and personal (Sue was spectacular!). The riad is amazingly in its beauty and authenticity - down to the tiny architectural details - Robert really has done such a nice job restoring this 320 year space. We stayed... More

From the moment we walked into the Ruined Garden, we were made to feel at home. This never let up for the four days we were there, with the staff always managing to be just-that-bit-ahead of our needs, while being completely unobtrusive. Host Robert's enthusiasm for his adopted city and the oasis he's created is infectious. Every corner of the... More

The Riad Idrissy is a very friendly guest house. The team made my stay a very lovely one! The food is delicous and also the maroccan tea. The fourniture of the house is very traditional, my bed was on steps, a four-poster bed, lovely!! Thank you Sue and Aida for my nice days in Fes!!
