We stayed here and at Dar Bensouda a few minutes away during our stay. Both were great... while Bensouda is a better (grander) property, Robert and the crew put in a fantastic effort to deliver a friendly, efficient and personalized experience. If i were to go back, this would be the place. The ruined garden restaurant has a nice atmosphere... More

My boyfriend and I really enjoyed our stay at Riad Idrissy. Our room was beautiful, the location was very central, and the hosts/staff were amazing. Before arriving, Robert was kind enough to help me research the bus schedules from Chefchaouen to coordinate transportation - it's difficult to find these types of schedules when not in the country, and he was... We stayed in 3 different places in Fez and this was by far the best. A basket left outside the door every morning with coffee and juice and once you've woken up a little an amazing breakfast awaits. The only bad thing I could say is you wont want to leave, really an Oasis in the Medina.

Riad Idrissy is the best Riad in Fez if you want a beautiful and elegant, yet homely atmosphere, filled with truly warm and friendly staff. The place exudes a wonderful air of warmth and calm - it's a real oasis! From the entrance, you will walk through a lush garden, which is also a restaurant. It is filled with little... More

Riad Idrissy is beautiful. It has been exquisitely renovated, with sensitivity to the architectural traditions of the Medina and with great attention to detail. The main public areas all evoke different moods, from the cosy library and terrace to the amazing roof terrace with views over the Medina and beyond. After being out and about all day in the intensity... More

A long overdue review. My wife and I had the most wonderful stay here with our 2 year old son! Robert was the perfect host, incredibly accommodating and understanding of our constant requests! This is an incredibly atmospheric place and the hospitality is unquestionable. Such a warm welcome in spectacular surroundings. Highly recommended!

My husband and I have just returned from a 2-week trip to Morocco. Our decision to stay at Riad Idrissy was a great one – the glowing accolades on this site are well deserved. A few things of note: 1. Robert and Sue were fantastic. Amazingly, they were able to anticipate our needs – almost before we did. On arrival... More

Fes is very 'full on' and it is the greatest priviledge to be able to retreat to the stunningly renovated Riad Idrissy, with its calming garden and expansive views from the rooftop terrace over the Medina to the distant mountains. Robert and assistant Sue were wonderfully welcoming, dispensing the right amount and quality of information to ensure that our stay... More

After a month of traveling through Morocco and various medina's we visited, this place has left the most wonderful impression possible! True measure of peace after a turbulent life on the streets of the medina, and a good mix with a restaurant and garden that are amazing and completely different from anything else in Fez. behind heavy but very subtle...
