My husband, 11 year old son, and I spent one month in Morocco in December 2014. Ryiad Al Atik was one of our first stops. Our host Abdul (he's also a chef), was very kind and helpful, and made us feel like home. The ryiad is beautiful, comfortable and clean. We also had one of the best breakfasts overall, beautifully... We stayed at the Riad Al-Atik for 5 nights. The location is great...on a quiet residential alley which is typical of the Fes medina. No cars! The staff is friendly and helpful... Hassan gave us a helpful orientation to the medina (which we found we did not need a guide to maneuver) and everyone was gracious and welcoming. They were... More

A beautifully arranged, easy to find riad, on the back of an alley close to the medina's main street. Breakfast was great (delicious olives, breads and tangerine juice) and served on the charming "lobby". Staff was very friendly. On the downside, my room was somewhat small and had a tiny bathroom (without a shower curtain), but I did check other... More

We had initially booked just for one night in the Riad and ended up staying for three nights. While we were there the weather was really bad, but inside the Riad the sun was "shining" all day long. The rooms are very spacious with proper light for reading etc. and everything is spotless clean. We had dinner there all three... More

WE stayed here in Oct. The location was close to parking. It was easy to find after being picked up the first time from the parking lot. All round good choice for the money. The room was quiet and I think the food was good too.

We went to Al Atik on the 4th day of our stay in Morocco. The hotel was inside The Old Medinah, so you can't get to the hotel by car. You have to park outside the Medinah and walk around the very small alleys. When we arribed at the neighborhood, there were two teenagers arguing with our driver. They spoke... More

I stayed at Riyadh al Atik for two nights with two friends. Train station acceess/ arrival We had travelled from Marrakech by train and the Riyadh sent a member of staff to come meet our taxi from the train station. The first thing that struck us was the helpfulness and friendliness of our host, who spoke near fluent french and... More

We loved the feel of this Riad, which has an elegantly decorated and furnished interior. The location in the medina is very convenient to souks, landmarks in the medina and the gates to exit the medina as well. Valerie was a great help to us in navigating the the medina and issues with hustlers. She and Karine made us feel... More

The Riyad Al Atik,in the heart of the Medina, has offered us a warm welcome with a lot of useful advices and a delicious mint tea. It is an old traditional house completely renovated. Nice bedrooms, nice dining room, excellent cooking. Perfect service.Thank you very much!

Great little place, tastefully decorated, with owners always trying to help and make us comfortable... Had a great time, great breakfast and the meal we had there was one of the best in our trip! Hope we can return, only regret was that we didn't stay more nights in Fes... Thank you!
