We spent four days here in late December/January and had a marvelous time. The riad is beautiful: the garden is lovely with lemon, orange and pomegranate trees along with other tropical plants, the rooms are beautifully designed and decorated and are very comfortable (we had a room for three that was spacious and beautiful and had its own additional sitting... We travelled around Morocco and stayed in 4 places. We have to say this was the nicest place we stayed at and with the best food. The riad is just beautiful with a beautiful courtyard. The staff was incredibly friendly. Our room was huge, had a loft and sunken shower. The bed was was incredibly comfortable and the food was... More

This is a beautiful, quiet and intriguing place centrally located in the Fes medina. You must be led down many alleys to get there, part of the adventure of Fes. The staff is helpful, service is outstanding. Breakfast and dinner were superb and served in a wonderful room with a mosaic floor, terra cotta fireplace, beautiful furnishings, and intricately carved... More

We had a lovely time here, this ryad is a beautiful oasis in the center of hectic Fes. Our room was full of extremely beautiful African art (though the owner told us that each room is decorated differently). Our dinner was delicious and one of the best that we had in all of Morocco. The owner Michael and the rest... More

The first impression of this ryad is wow when you enter through its gate into its beautiful garden, It is a cool, clean oasis which continues to the lovely roomy, private and lovely decorated rooms with everything you need including a comfy bed. The staff are very welcoming and helpful, especially Michel the owner. We stayed for two nights, and... More

Ryad Salama truly is a breathtaking oasis amongst the hustle and bustle of the Fez medina. Quiet, charming and exquisitely crafted it is like walking into Eden. Michel was an attentive, kind and fabulously helpful host. I cannot recommend this riad enough!

It's a little difficult to find the Riad but when you open the door you forget everything!! There is a pleasant garden and a beautiful small swimming pool, the owner Michel is a really nice man but all the staff is kind. Our room Clementine was furnished in a maroccan fine way, we also had a small charming balcony where... More

Loved our stay here. Michel is very welcoming and helpful. Beautiful generous room with balcony overlooking the garden. Super breakfast and we had dinner on arrival. Loved coming back to the plunge pool and the calm of the riad after a hot day exploring Fez.

This smaller ryad goes above and beyond to make your stay enjoyable. Run by a french man who spent years restoring it, the customer service is supurb. Fez is a bit more traditional than some of the other cities in Morocoo and this ryad helps you escape the streets to a little bit of heaven and serenity.

Dramatic approach! After you left your car at the municipal parking lot outside the walls of the ancient Medina, the luggage man leads you through a maze of narrow dirty streets that leaves you wondering if you made the right move. Just before you get really worried, you stand in front of a heavy wooden door waiting for the "open... More
