This peaceful Riad feels like it is yours alone, and we felt the entire time that the staff were actually personal attendants to our needs! On arrival, we were met at our taxi and walked into the medina to the Riad (thankfully our driver knew the house and called ahead on our behalf). We received the traditional mint tea and... More

Riad Tara served as a great home base for 3 days of exploring Fès. The property was charming and the terrace offered better views of the medina than any "restaurant Panorama" inside it. Day and evening manager Tissam was attentive, pleasant and very adept at co-ordinating our needs. The Sapphire room was spacious and well-decorated, although the bathroom was a... More

I stayed at Riad Tara in September 2014 while on a business trip, and found it charming, hospitable and clean. It is a small Riad with I guess around a dozen rooms at most. The staff are very friendly and attentive, for example, letting me use the phone to receive international calls (thereby saving a vast sum on my Vodafone... More

Stayed in Riad Tara for 5 nights as a family of 5 (2 adults and 3 kids ages: 9, 7 and 3). We were given the family suite which was roomy enough for all of us. The riad is located on the edge of the Medina and is close to shopping and other attractions however the approach to the riad... More

Located on the edge of the Medina in Fez, Riad Tara is the perfect accommodation for people who want to be close shopping and attractions, but far enough away to have a quiet place to relax. One major highlight of my stay was the staff of the Riad. They went out of their way to help me with everything I... More

This riad was absolutely lovely. My husband and I loved just sitting out in the courtyard with a late night drink and relaxing after a hectic day in the medina. The afternoon clerk (Epissima?) spoke perfect English and met up with us outside the medina to help us with our heavy luggage and to guide us to the riad. Jim,... More

If you can find this riad then you are in for a treat. The service is attentive but discreet, the building has been restored brilliantly and the rooms are elegant and comfortable. We stayed for two nights and loved every minute, breakfast was exceptional and dinner was the best meal we had in fez. Go there!

Staying in this riad was like living a dream. Everything was fantastic, from the staff to the owner Jim to the whole renovated building to our room to the views from the terrace. It also provided a striking contrast to other experiences we did along our journey as independent travellers in Morocco: this has really been an oasis of peace,... More

The environment and the decoration are very well taken care and are typical of morocco. Beautiful terrace with perfect view of the medina. Most of all, very friendly ,kind and helpful stuff. There is no description of their willingness. Our flight back home was very early in the morning and the girl from the reception prepared breakfast for us at... More
