Located on the edge of the Medina in Fez, Riad Tara is the perfect accommodation for people who want to be close shopping and attractions, but far enough away to have a quiet place to relax. One major highlight of my stay was the staff of the Riad. They went out of their way to help me with everything I... More

This riad was absolutely lovely. My husband and I loved just sitting out in the courtyard with a late night drink and relaxing after a hectic day in the medina. The afternoon clerk (Epissima?) spoke perfect English and met up with us outside the medina to help us with our heavy luggage and to guide us to the riad. Jim,... More

If you can find this riad then you are in for a treat. The service is attentive but discreet, the building has been restored brilliantly and the rooms are elegant and comfortable. We stayed for two nights and loved every minute, breakfast was exceptional and dinner was the best meal we had in fez. Go there!

Staying in this riad was like living a dream. Everything was fantastic, from the staff to the owner Jim to the whole renovated building to our room to the views from the terrace. It also provided a striking contrast to other experiences we did along our journey as independent travellers in Morocco: this has really been an oasis of peace,... More

The environment and the decoration are very well taken care and are typical of morocco. Beautiful terrace with perfect view of the medina. Most of all, very friendly ,kind and helpful stuff. There is no description of their willingness. Our flight back home was very early in the morning and the girl from the reception prepared breakfast for us at... More

If you want the unique experience of an authentic riad where owners and staff create a warm and friendly environment that makes you want to come back, Riad Tara is your choice. The view of the Medina and the mountains from the rooftop terrace, you will never forget. The riad's Moroccan cuisine is excellent. The friendlyness of the two (multi-lingual)... More

Everything about my experience at this riad was excellent, from the rooms and the stay to the extremely friendly and helpful staff. The proprietor is a very pleasant french gentleman named Jim who went out of his way to make sure we were taken care of and comfortable during our stay. The property is beautiful and is well located. Dear all...just giving my humble perspective.... Pro's: 1) The staff were exceptionally amicable and very understanding to all my requests. 2) The atmosphere was very serene (as if being in Outer Space). 3) The room was as nice as any room in a hotel I have stayed in previously. 4) The Moroccan breakfast was scrumptiously fantastic, which included Msemmen (pancake)... My friend and I stayed at Riad Tara for two nights. The location is close to everything (but be careful to remember exactly what turns to make because the alleyways are very confusing), the bedroom and bathroom were adorable with the bedroom being one of the best decorated rooms I have ever stayed in, the common space was cute as...
