I stayed here last (early) winter and booked it only upon looking at its gorgeous pictures and apparent closeness to Fes el Bali ( old part of the Medina). Arranged a pick-up transfer from the train station and had resigned myself to being stood up, abandoned and harassed (had bad pick-up experiences in Asilah, communication with this Riad manager was... Well..there is nothing fundamentally wrong about this place: good location, nice breakfast, lovely decoration, etc. But it is too much like a formula....and it lacks heart. There are some nice staff serving breakfast but the overall feeling is that this is first and foremost a business and the effort to make you feel at home is missing. This should be a... More

The owner and the staff are all very kind gentlemen. We contact the owner through email and he arrange a pick up service from bus station, which is very good for us as we do not need to deal with taxi driver. They treat us mint tea anytime we come back to the Riad, let us relax and feel so... More

We were greeted in the car park by a young man who runs the Riad and when we got inside we were offered mint tea. The owner told us that he received the request that we wanted a room on the higher floors but the hotel was fully booked so he offered us a room on the ground floor and... More

We visited Morocco over the summer in hopes of getting to see the local atmosphere and all of the cool and exotic things that ancient cities like Fes had to offer. Upon arrival we met Omar, one of the owners and operators of Riad Naila, and not only was he able to make us feel comfortable and safe in the... More

My partner and I stayed here for three nights. After reading the reviews here I am perplexed at what Riad these people where staying at. Yes very good location. Yes the Riad is quite beautiful. Yes the cleaning ladies are lovely. And the old man Mohamed is friendly. However we will not be returning or recommending this place. Firstly on... More

Finding this riad is quite easy and the place is centrally located in the Fez medina. Also, riad Naila is a quite place and is a nice retreat from the busy Fez medina. However, we also feel that some improvement is possible. When we arrived, the place was dark and no one was at the reception. After a few seconds,... More

We spent 3 weeks travelling around Morocco and Fes was our last stop. We stayed here for 2 nights and in the beginning we thought of extending at Fes for one more night but some factors including the riad changed our minds. Sharing my thoughts as I don't find as "fantastic" as the other reviews here. Here are my pros... More

It was our first place to stay in Morocco and one of the best budget hotels I have ever stayed in. The atmosphere, the staff, the food, the location, the room - everything was perfect. I recommend this place for everyone who wants to have an amazing time in Fes.

More
