Situated in the heart of the city of saints - Fes, you will receive authentic morrocan hospitality. Our host was as excellent. It was clean. A quick walk from Bab Bajloud. And literally right next to the souks. But it is hidden away so that you have your privacy and discretion. We could not have asked for more. Rooms were... More

Fantastic place to stay in Fes. Great location right in te heart of the medina, but really close to a great cafe (clock cafe) and the taxi rank place. Rooms were beautiful and clean, breakfast was very tasty, the best bit was the host who couldn't have been more helpful. No request was too big or too small and he... More

The rooms were clean and exactly as pictured. The building was charming and spacious. The host was definitely full of knowledge about the area and was very willing to provide guidance on where to eat/drink, what to see... Address doesnt show on Google Maps but way to the Dar was clearly marked from the Carpark (nearest taxi drop off point),... More

Dar Drissi is a cultural wonder, nestled in a quiet street, near to the shops and restaurants, within the Medina of Fez. This old Riad has been sympathetically restored to reflect traditional Morrocan design and style, whilst offering modern comforts. They provide bed and breakfast accommodation. The rooms are positioned around a central marbled courtyard which contains a beautiful marble... More

I stayed at the Dar Drissi for 4 nights Feb 2015. The Riad is in the heart of the old Medina in Fes and within easy walking distance to many good restaurants and cafes. The Riad itself has been tastefully refurbished to a high standard to reflect the exotic Moroccan culture. From the roof terrace there is a spectacular view... More

We appreciate the enormous repair work done to this old house. However some small additional touches will make it nicer and more comfortable for guests - e.g. there is not enough lighting in the common area, so it is impossible to read anything there in the evening. Similarly in the bedrooms, there is not enough light for reading. Bathrooms do... More

I was thrilled by the palatial scale of Dar Drissi, an oasis of calm amid the chaos of the medina. Simple, lovely and sensitively restored. Kibir, the manager is a charming man who was a wealth of local knowledge and was always available on his phone, he served us a delicious breakfast each morning. For someone who enjoys a bit... More

Beautifully restored gem of a boutique hotel in the very heart of the medina. We were looked after very well by the manager who was only too happy to arrange taxis and day trips. Can't recommend it highly enough. Thanks for a great stay.

I can't recommend Dar Drissi highly enough. From the Prince of Persia-esque foyer complete with a water feature and sky-reaching doors fit for a king - to the bedouin tent on the terrace suitable for early evening social drinking, Dar Drissi can only be described as a gem of a guesthouse that completed our wonderful stay in Fez. Kabir, the... More

My family and I really loved our stay here in the beautiful Dar Drissi. With a perfect location and beautiful setting it really made our trip special. The decor is really picturesque with a typical Moroccan feel complete with a beautiful open roof, a rooftop terrace overlooking the whole of the medina, and a downstairs area centred by a little...
