The Hotel Bab Boujloud is a great, no-frills place to stay in Fez. It is very inexpensive, it is conveniently located just outside the gate to the old city. The rooms are reasonably clean and good sized. My 21 year old son thought it was great. Preferring a bit more luxury I would have liked a bathroom that did not... More

Utilitarian , charmless hotel, the one saving grace is that it is cheap. However very very noisy. The second night I was there I didn't get any sleep at all from the racket both inside and outside the building. Told the staff and they just laughed! Rooms are tiny and very basic would not recommend it.

Stayed here for a total of four nights on two separate occasions, once in one of the two rooms on the roof (wonderful! and just 120 Dh). Staff was really friendly, and the breakfasts (included) were great - they serve the same thing every morning, but I liked it lots. Above all else, the location can not be beat. I... More

I stayed here for two nights in March 2015 at a price of 150 Dirham per night. The room was nice and clean but had no hot water. There were two females in the lobby as I checked in complaining about the lack of hot water, so I was not totally surprised. They demanded a discount on the room which... More

Stayed for 2 nights at the bab boujoud in jan 2015. Cheap budget hotel that is conveniently located by the old medina of fes by the bab boujloud gate. Hotel was quiet during our stay but was clean and tidy. Breakfast was included and consisted mainly of a variety of breads with spreads.on the roof of the hotel you do... More

The best thing about the hotel was its location, it could not be better. Hotel itself was quite nice although spartan furnishings. The room was small but OK, bathroom also and bed was really nice. Everything was clean. And staff was helpful and friendly. Nice views from the terrace. Only the breakfast room could be better placed, it was in... More

Top location right outside Bab Boujloud gate. Taxis can get right to hotels front door. View from roof top terrace probably the best in Fes. Staff friendly/helpful. Rooms definately not riad standard but perfectly adequate. I wish I was back on that roof terrace right now!

I usually don't right reviews but I have to go out of my way to say this is absolutely the best place to stay in fes. It is conveniently located right outside of the big gate to the medina. My girlfriend and I stayed here for two nights and loved it! It's safe, clean and the staff is amazing. DO... More

We stayed here for 2 nights. The location can't get better! Located right at bab boujloud so you know you'll always find your way back because everyone knows where it is. The management was pretty helpful and nice. The rooms were small and dark, and pretty clean. The bathroom was tiny! Can get pretty loud at night as well. Breakfast... More

stayed here for 2 nights - the rooms are comfortable and clean. They are a bit dated, but the place is very good value for money. My Lonely Planet said there were no en-suites, but it must be out of date, as I had the cheapest room and had an ensuite. The location is great, right on the edge of... More
