Riad Layalina was our home away from home during our trip to Fez. The staff of this family run establishment are all very friendly and considerate. The riad itself is beautifully adorned with carved plasters, adorned wood ceilings, gorgeous mosaics, and a gorgeous rooftop terrace with a view of the medina. The room, public areas, and pool are all meticulously... More

Our recent stay (for a total of 5 nights) at Riad Layalina was simply wonderful. The Riad was absolutely beautiful but perhaps more importantly, the staff at the Riad were fantastic and made us very welcome from the moment we arrived until we went. The location is excellent also as is the splendid breakfast. We were also treated to a... More

We spent 5 nights in this wonderful Riad. All rooms and suites are in excellent condition. The staff is very friendly and cooperative. All requests were immediately attended to. The Riad is very close to the Medina. From the roof top one has an extraordinary view of Fes. Jerome is the perfect host. We'll come again if time allows.

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE Riad Layalina!!! We arrived at the Riad after a tiring 7 hour train ride and a 10 minute cab ride. We weren't sure what to expect...but boy were we blown away! The Riad is beautiful!!! My friend and I felt like royalty staying at a Morocan Palace...the detailing and decor is remarkable. The only thing that was... More

Dear Guests, Whaoo ! What can we say ? This is so heartwarming. Indeed, you are at home, and we mean it. From our experience, this is certainly one of the most difficult aspect to impart. Something to deal with one's positive energy I suppose. Anyway, we mean it with our heart. Many thanks and warm Morrocan smiles from the... More

We really enjoyed Layalina. It was very beautiful! We arrived late at night after a 10 hour train ride to a delicious tagine with egg and tomato sauce and awoke every morning to an equally delicious breakfast. The courtyard and rooms are gorgeous. The staff is very friendly. The location is great; it is right by the souks. My only complaint is... More

Hello dears, So nice meeting you and discuss together ! Sorry for the dogs. We found an issue as there was a dog to close to the riad which could be annoying at night when his "friends" in the medina wanted to chat late... Anyway we managed to have that dog moved to another house. We will be delighted to... More

My partner and I were part of larger group visiting Fez for a few days on a motoring tour of Morocco. Most of our group stayed in the large Sofitel, while a few of us stayed in the Riad Layalina. The Riad was well placed near the Medina. We had complete peace, the rooms were beautiful and nothing was too... More

Unassuming outside, the inside of Riad Layalina is breathtakingly beautiful, a light airy space with a pretty pool, and plenty of comfortable places to sit. The rooms are charming and whilst not the last word in plush luxury, they are spacious, attractive and beautifully decorated with air-con and shuttered windows. Having thought the bed would be too hard, we found... More

Hello dear, What a joy having welcomed you and your rally. All these splendid cars, so unsual and so amazing in the medina ! We are very concerned by your review, which is our priority. We will definitely have the hairdryers installed shortly. Regarding the drying out, we already have changed two out of seven to fix this issue asap.... More

This was the most enjoyable riad stay we have had in our many trips to Morocco. The outstanding aspect of Riad Layalina was the friendliness of the staff and their readiness to help in general. Nothing was too much effort for them. By coincidence, the owner arrived part-way through our stay. He was equally friendly, helpful and personable, with none... More
