Like walking thru an Arabian Nights tale. You navigate the Souk to this wonderful oasis in the medina. Comfort awaits you. We had a very good meal there but it's pricey. Good location and a memorable stay

The Riad is marvellous with 2 nice patios and a fantastic roof top terrace, splendid rooms. The breakfast was reasonably good. Service, however, was more what you would expect from a 2 star Hotel rather than a 4 star one. No warm welcome, no explanation of the house, so we discovered the roof top tce on our own. Upfront communication... More

The Riad is down a small alley in a quiet part of the Medina. Stepping through the huge brown door into the Riad was a real surprise! It was so beautiful! The tiles, the lights, the furniture, fountains, everything captured the eye. We had such a peaceful stay. The rooms were clean and basic. Our room didn't have wifi but... More

Down a dark alley there is a door. Stepping through that door into Riad Salam Fes is like walking into a fairy tale. We were welcomed by Riad Salam staff, including the waiter named Fatah. He promise, "just say 'abrakadabra', and I'll be there." And he was, with mint tea and touristy advice, self-taught English (very competent) and always a... More

Great and lovely Riad, very beautiful and large. The location couldn't be better and it is in the silent part of the medina of Fes. The staffs were very very nice. We stayed there two nights. We ate two dinners in the Riad, which was very tasty and fresh. In total, it was our best dinners in Morocco. Don’t miss... More

We were in Morocco for a week but had only book accommodations in advance for 3 nights - Salam Fes was our last minute choice as we had not decided the number of days we were staying in Fes, and was one of the few decently priced and reviewed ones for the dates we needed. The Salam Fes was way... More

Dear Sir, we were so surprised about your review since there are lot of contradiction. You mentioned our riad 'RIAD SALAM FES' but we think you confused it with another riad. Please check our website and let us know which room you mentioned on your review so we can give more details and explanations we are looking forward to your... More

A lovely Riad, beautiful and large. Nice rooms (a bit smelly) but overall very good. Breakfast is great and served in the hall, with view on the nice building. The location couldn't be better. In the silent part of the medina, with parking, 3 places. The service is ok. Would have been nice if the owners provided you with a... More

Amazing tile mosaics all over. So beautiful, great, genuine attention to detail in the architecture. Simply beautiful. Extremely relaxing atmosphere. Staff always helpful, fair. Food excellent, generous. Rooms ( we stayed in Suites Marrakech and Tanger at the second floor) big, clean, gracefully decorated. Hammam and massage the cherry on the cake.

Very nice lobby and magnificent tile work greets you but that's were it ends. The rooms are dated and in need of some serious cleaning. Bathroom floor/shower walls need washing, carpets need vacuuming and the whole room needs dusting. They could use better quality/newer sheets, towels and furniture. Our fist room had a sewer problem. The smell from the sewer... More

We stayed here for 2 nights in October 2013. It was a beautiful example of Moroccan decoration, and a very comfortable Riad. The wifi access was good, the room spacious and the courtyards and terrace all very well appointed. The staff were very helpful, even arranging some washing for us. We ate two breakfasts and two dinners in the Riad,... More
