'Big' and 'small' Muhammed make you really feel at home in this fantastically located ryad. Especially young travellers will enjoy the atmosphere here. The ryad is a little old and some aprts may be a bit scruffy but the staff will do everything to help you out. Rooms are large and comfy. Breakfast is great and will fill you up... More

Being 4 students (3 from Canada and 1 from New Z), we were a bit nervous about Fes in general. Dar el Yasmine however, went out of their way to make our experience incredible. Guests are greeted with unlimited sweet tea, shisha is offered in the evenings on their terrace and the breakfasts are delicious and filling (think crepes, jams... More

Had an absolutely awesome time staying here. The hosts were so welcoming and couldn't do enough to help us with anything we needed. The room we had was great value for money, clean and lovely and peaceful considering the bustling streets only a stones throw away. The food was lovely and the experience of cooking with the staff made it... More

We loved the welcoming atmosphere, friendly staff and free wi-fi. The owner is a really nice guy who is proud of his business and the place. He's doing a great job. We got everything what we wanted, so.it was a nice place to stay at.

Rooms are nice and the breakfast was great. It's down a side street and not too hard to find but it's worth getting the airport pickup if you are coming in after dark. The owner Mohammad is a chilled out guy and was helpful. Someone below has listed out the 'pros' and 'cons' in a far superior review to mine... More

Our stay at Dar el Yasmine was really great! Mhamed was such an amazing host and was so accommodating! He booked us a fez city tour, a medina tour and a desert tour! All of them were incredible, cheap and booked the day of! The food was excellent, your tea cup always full and I will never forget Mhamed's berber... More

We visited fantastic Dar el Yasmine in late March and were overwhelmed by the friendly and down to earth staff. We got a nice, clean room with shower (more than enough hot water) and good beds. The breakfast was excellent and freashly prepared by Cous Cous (Mohammed) - a super friendly and nice guy, who were there for us at... More

Pros: - tea on the house every time you walk through the door - great place to meet other travellers - great location in the medina but in a side street so much quieter than other places - cooking class run by Mohammed was good (and also a great way to meet other people) - rooms are a very good... An amazing place to stay and definitely one of the highlights of our stay in Fes. What really defines Dar el Yasmine and sets it apart from other hostels has nothing to do with the decor or the rooms but the staff who are truly amazing people. They will, without a speck of doubt, be some of The most genuine... More
