We spent 3 weeks in Morocco and the service and attention we received here was second to none. The room was spacious and quiet on an upper level and very private. This is a classic Riad with magnificent central garden and fountain all meticulously maintained. The hammas the best we experienced in our whole trip. The restaurant well worth a... More

Visited the Palais Amani with my mum. Wow! What an amazing hotel, suite was incredible ( bigger than my entire flat) hotel grounds were gorgeous, food was lovely and staff just fantastic. We did the hotel cooking class and had such a great day visiting the medina, taking tea in the stalls and buying our live chicken. The food we... More

As I have said in my other reviews, I stumbled accross this establishment when visiting the medina. I was staying in a smaller riad not too far away and although it was fine, was nothing like the beauty and the refinement of the palais amani. I had an incredible hammam experience here, and ended my first visit with a fruit... More

Truly one of the most incredible hotel experiences. Nestled in the Medina, but not too far in to find. Every detail and feature were perfection. The food was incredible, and the service, impeccable. The hamam experience also top notch. I was delighted with the authentic and tasteful decor. It was an unforgettable experience. If you can manage it, don't miss... More

The Palais Amani was all that we had hoped for, and much much more. We celebrated an incredible early Christmas week of fun and relaxation here. It is hard to know where to start, but from the moment we entered the front gate, we entered a world inside the palace's four walls that encompasses Morocco's rich past and probable future.... More

Didn't stay at the hotel but managed to catch a lunch at the courtyard. Service was impeccable and the operations manager happily offered to take us on a tour around the hotel. The hotel has a great terrace / roof where you can chill and have drinks which is lovely when the sun is out. Food was good but prices... More

Thanks so much for your review! The medina of Fez has many hidden secrets behind the doors of its winding streets -- and we like to think Palais Amani is one of the best! We are always happy to cater to non-residents visiting the Fez medina in our garden, restaurant or rooftop bar, or even just for a tour of... More

Once again Palais Amani worked its magic. The moment the big door in the tall wall of the narrow alley opened and I was back in the tiled splendour of the garden of citrus trees and soaring pillars, the only sound the gentle fountain and chirruping of cheeky sparrows, I knew four days of total relaxation lay ahead of me.... All the shops in the medina ask you to come in just for the 'pleasure of the eyes' - you would do well to gain that pleasure in a visit to Palais Amani, for everywhere you look this beautifully restored palace holds wondrous gems to be savoured. The tastefully refurbished palace is a haven of peace; it's delightful garden a... More

After over 8 hours on the Marrakech Express and a windy drive by a friendly driver to a square with several windy staircases in view, we were met by another very friendly man who proceeded to take our bag and start winding us up one of these dark narrow outdoor staircases. Tiny shops with mostly men sitting around chatting were... More

Thank you so much for your kind review! We like to call Palais Amani "Fez's Best Kept Secret" because, as you said, it's impossible to know what lies behind the giant (or tiny!) carved wooden doors of the Fez medina until you are inside... We are very happy that you enjoyed your stay with us in our palace! More

We were really skeptical when our driver and guide pulled into a rather seedy looking square outside the walks of old Fez. Our baggage was loaded onto an old wooden handcart and we were escorted up some narrow alley way into the medina. We were taken to an old wooden double door where our guide knocked and it opened into... More
