The Palais Amani is a real palace. 12 en-suite bedrooms clustered around a really large riad garden. The corridors are wide and there is even a lift to get to the second floor and up to the roof. On the roof is the bar that holds a Happy Hour each day. Although on an old site it was rebuilt in... More

We loved this hotel, which is situated in a former private home/palace, and beautifully restored. Absolutely gorgeous tile-work throughout, but with a classic and modern design sensibility to the bedrooms and public areas. Palais Amani's restaurant is very good, with refreshingly contemporary food--a relief after too many traditional Moroccan meals. A beautiful breakfast starts the day, and the rooftop bar... More

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Palais Amani. From the moment we walked in it was clear this is not your standard hotel. The courtyard and suite were stunning, and the staff first rate. Attentive but not intrusive. Our flight home was cancelled courtesy of French air traffic control going on strike and the manager and staff at Palais Amani... More

Meant to review 2 years ago when our family visited. Fantastic riad with great food. Peaceful courtyard, rooftop terrace with lovely views of Fez at sunset. Welcome gifts for our children (fez hats and traditional slippers). Elegant, soothing and welcoming. When we needed one, they identified a knowledgeable guide to help us navigate the fantastic but bewildering streets of the... More

We stayed here for our first 3 nights in Morocco. Experienced warmth and hospitality....and quiet in the middle of the medina. The hammam was great, too. Make sure to try the fresh goat cheese at breakfast. Loved the decoration with cactus silk thread---nowhere else in Morocco, but very characteristic of Fes.

Good afternoon, Well no doubt Morocco is a country of hospitality and to experience it. Palais Amani was a good destination. Those who are the first time in Morocco, it is very interesting to see what a moroccan Hammam is? Thank you and have a nice day More

I'm hesitant to write a review because I want to keep this place all to myself! You really do feel like royalty staying in this immaculate Riad. Everything is perfect and top notch from the décor to the staff. The staff were all very helpful and super fun. I loved the bartender Abdul the most. He could speak at least... More

Having the beautiful green space in the center of the riad, as well as the outdoor lounging space on the top floor, made us feel like we were outdoors. The staff was friendly and helpful as could be, all the way up to the owner. Our rooms were unusual --- a long, narrow suite -- and lovely. We were upgraded... More

The location is one of the best in Fes - easy to get to when you're coming or going. Service was great and the tour guides the hotel arranged for us were great. The rooftop is incredibly relaxing. I'd stay here again if I went back!

This small hotel, hidden in the maze of the Fes medina, is magical. You walk from the medina's tangled, ancient pathways into a lush patio filled with orange-laden orange trees and other lush vegetation and a central fountain, surrounded on four sides by a refurbished riad. Rooms are spacious, finely furnished, and look out on the green of the patio... More
