Spent three nights during EID in Fes. Thank goodness for the impeccable Palais Amani in the Medina. The "a ha" moment of what lay behind the secret door of this restored mini palace was breathtaking. The rooms range from palatial to merely wonderful. The beds and linens magical and the mosaic throughout was just beautiful. We had a wonderful time living... More

Once you get over the initial shock of arriving in a hectic square/parking lot; having your luggage loaded into a 'wheelbarrow' of sorts and being led up some narrow and rustic alleys, you can't help but breathe a sigh of relief when you are led into a haven of peace and tranquility at Palais Amani! A magnificent riad with a... More

I'm pretty sure my girlfriend has already reviewed this hotel but they deserve the 2nd set of 5 stars from me. We arrived extremely late at night (2am local time...thanks Royal Air Maroc) and were greeted as if it were 2 in the afternoon. The excursions they booked for us were incredible - arranging for a wonderful driver and helping... More

My boyfriend and I stayed at Palais Amani for 4 nights in August and could not have been more pleased with our time here. We arrived late at night (2 am local time), and the staff was still there to greet us warmly. The hotel is accessed through a winding, dark alley, but don't be alarmed- once you enter, the... More

We had been on the road for 3 days before reaching Fez, so we wanted to stay in a very plush and comfortable place -- and Palais Amani did the job nicely. A bit of an awkward start though. The hotel is inside the medina so our driver could only get to the perimeter outside of the medina. We were... More

Palais Amani has been meticulously restored and is maintained to the highest standards. The rooms have been thoughtfully equipped with everything a discerning guest may require. The courtyard is magical, particularly when dining there in the evening. The thoughtful touch of complimentary mint tea with delicious biscuits served on the rooftop with wonderful views was the highlight of every afternoon.

Sadly we only had one night at Palais Amani. Room and courtyard were amazing and staff was was very friendly. I would highly suggest using their service from the airport to their Riad. If you choose to "wing it" make sure you print out their Riad address in Arabic! Most taxi drivers do not know how to speak or read... More

We stayed here for about 4 days and the Riad is pretty nice, although basic, it does have an authentic feel to it. Its quite large and has some lovely views from the rooftop. The rooms we stayed in were not as spacious, and could have used a few more 'travel friendly' features. Overall it was comfortable, but I wouldn't... More

We stayed at Palais Amani during our 3 night stay in Fes, and the courtyard and terrace were just as beautiful as the photos on the website promised. Additionally, the staff seemed very eager to please, and provided great service. Unfortunately, there were some aspects of the accommodations that were less than stellar: Our room was directly below the staff... More
