What a perfect Riad! A palace like in "thousand and one nights". A great location at the egde of the Medina with easy accessibility; and a stunning terrace overlooking the whole Medina. And a very friendly and helpful staff, which is eager to make the guest's stay memorable. Congratulations to Riad Alya. If I will return to Fes: it will... More

We stayed here for 2 nights and it was amazing. We had the casablanca suite, wonderful. People are really kind and helpful, ready to provide any request. We didn't try the hammam because we had really few time and we just wanted to visit the town the more as we could, but it should have been a beautiful experience. It... More

We were astounded by how beautifully and authentically this ryad has been renovated. You feel like you are staying in a Moorish palace. It is the most charming and architecturally interesting place we have ever stayed! Other things I can praise were the extremely helpful staff, the good breakfasts, and the little extras which were offered with a smile (such... More

I was looking for somewhere with strong enough wifi to do a very important skype call and my Riad had not worked out (after being told it would). With a short amount of time to reschedule, Ryad Alya kindly gave me a room to use and served us the most amazing dinner afterward. The view from the terrace is fantastic... More

My stay at Ryad Alya was great. Hassnae was very kind during my preparation for this trip and give me all the information for my trip to Fes. They arrange for a driver to wait for us at the train station that is highly recommended since it was the first time at Morocco and could be really overwhelming not to... More

The Ryad has been beautifully renovated with a lot of attention to detail, in a a very traditional manner. We stayed in the Ouarzazate room which is long and narrow but nevertheless spacious with big and beautiful bathroom. The locations is perfect for exploring the old Medina and is also a short ride with taxi from the new town. The... More

I realize this is a small courtyard hotel, but for the price of the rooms, I can't say it is justified. We also stayed at Palais Faraj down the road, which was amazing, for only a little more money. Two positives I have to say are that Alya has a beautiful courtyard and some cute decor in the common areas... More

We stay in this riad for three nights and it was our best place in Morocco. The place is really beautiful, the personal is very kind, the view from the terrace is terrific, the bed are comfortable, everything is very clean. the breakfast is huge, tasty and always different (and you don't have a fixed time to get it) and... Riad Alya was an incredible place. As soon as we got there, they offered us tea and cookies in an amazing open courtyard. We noticed a couple of pets wandering around the open area –– a decent-size turtle and a somewhat smaller one that added to the charm of the place. The room was gigantic and sumptuous and the help... My wife and I had the pleasure to stay at Ryad Alya for 3 nights, and very much enjoyed the experience. Hasnae and her colleagues welcomed us as family when we first arrived, and proved over the coming days that it was not just 'sales talk', they really treated us with kindness and warm-hearted generosity. They helped with airport pick... More
