I highly recommend staying at guest house Dar Othmane. The guest house is located in the old Madina and close the main street talaa la kbira where all the attractions are in Fez. There are a total of five rooms in the guest house and three floors with a terrace on the top. The rooms are very clean and have... More

We spent 2 nights in this riad, which 'look' really nice, but in both mornings we had no electricity (had to take shower in the dark) plus no wifi was available for all our stay. They didn't show to be sorry about this (also other clients who had been at the riad for longer than us also had same remarks).... More

Do not stay here. I came to Fes alone, my bank blocked my card whilst in fes so there was no way I could get cash to pay at the end of my stay. As it was the weekend I couldn't get a western union transfer from my parents so I had literally no way of getting cash before I... More

I'm 47 year old and stayed in this hotel with my wife and two sons of 17 (twins). We had there a very, very good time, specialy because of the manager, Hichan, and his brother, Aimar. They gave us all the good information we needed to walk and to discover the medina of Fez. They advised us where to eat,... More

I stayed 4 days in this great small guesthouse with my husband and our two 17 years old boys. It was great! The place is simple, but very comfortable and beautiful. We were the only guests, and we had a great experience together with the Family that owns the guesthouse. We had 3 dinners there, which were delicious! The mother... More

Although not many rooms can be offered by the newly renovated guest house, its design is rich of Mediterranean character. The exquisite environment allows us to enjoy the quietness in the mid of the busiest medina. We received a warm and friendly hospitality during our 2-night stay at the family run of guest house. The owner not just giving us... More

Fez is a great experience! Everyday life in this superb medieval city is buzzing and Dar Othmane is nicely placed in a quiet alley where I was able to feel a part of everyday life yet have a secluded spot to retire to when necessary. I found Dar Othmane spotlessly clean with nice en-suite facilities. It had been refurbished recently... More

Dar Othmane is a charming guesthouse traditionally and beautifully restored and nestled in the heart of the old Medina of Fes, Morocco. The house is more than 300 years old and features walls of polished tadelakt, original cedar wood beamed ceilings and doors which have been restored beautifully. All the furniture has been made by local craftsmen. The central courtyard is decorated with ornate zellig tiles and is a perfect place to relax after exploring the old Medina and it’s alleyways and small streets. Iraq glass has been placed in all the windows for peace and privacy, and warmth in the winter months when the evenings can be a little cooler. The roof terrace with its panoramic views of the Medina and the surrounding hills is the perfect haven, whether you want to enjoy the sun or read in the shade. It’s offering moments of intmiacy, relaxation and meetings between the guests. Its an ideal place to spend your evenings watching the sun go down, whilst you wine and dine under the African sky.Dar Othmane is located in the heart of the Medina yet easily accessible from the main street Talaa Kebira. It’s just a 10 minutes walk to “Bab Boujiloud”, the beautiful blue gate which is the main entry to the oldest Medina of the world. Just around the corner you can discover the souk with its hundreds of market stalls selling spices, vegetables, carpets, pottery and beautiful fabrics.
