We stayed here two nights in the royal suite.and I have never felt so welcome in a place. The room was huge, and the decor was authentically Moroccan and beautiful. They have the most amazing view from the terrace (probably one of the best in Fez), where we were served a superb breakfast. The staff took such good care of us... More

The staff in this Riad are the most welcoming and friendly of any accommodation I have ever stayed in. Not only did they arrange our pick-up from the train station they also personally showed us how to navigate around the maze like medina of Fes. The owners explained that when they first purchased the property they aptly named the terrace... More

After traveling over 24 hours and starting to feel a bit lonely, I felt right at home at Dar Gnaoua! It was very comfortable and Ahmed was incredibly helpful. From first meeting me and helping me find the Dar, to showing me, and to finding me when I was lost, it was a great experience. The rooftop terrace was beautiful... More

We have recently spent three nights in the room adjacent to the roof terrace and it was gorgeous. The view from the roof terrace is simply breath taking. Ahmed who lived in the Medina was amazing, helpful and kind. He met us from the taxi and helped with luggage, he served us breakfast every morning, always delivered with a smile... More

After our 2 week-trip in Maroc, I can see it was our best riad / hotel on your trip. Sure, without help no chance to find first time (like all riads in the medina). But it's worth. Inside you are in a beautiful riad, on roof you can have breakfast with a fantastic view on the medina of Fés. The... More

Of all the places we stayed in during our time in Morocco Dar Gnaoua was by far the best. The hosts were helpful, without being overpowering, the rooms were lovely and it was also one of the quietest places we stayed. Loved it!

After walking in the labyrinth of Fes, you enter the luminous patio of Dar Gnaoua. Amhed, the receptionist, was elegant, smiling and very helpful welcomed us, pointed out tips all along the roads to better discover the medina and feel safe and comfortable. Very well restored riad: ceramics, sculpted beam posts, a terrace on the roof to contemplate the mystic... More

I slept in b&b's all over the world; from Tokyo to Kingston and back, but Dar Gnoua is by far the best, most welcoming and beautiful place I've ever slept. The caretaker, mr. Ahmed, is such a lovely man. His french is great, his english sufficient and not only does he serve the best breakfast ever, he will help finding... More

Stayed in various riads in Morocco during a 10-day holiday and Dar Gnaoua tops the list vis-a-vis location, quality and character of the riad and the hospitality of the team without least mentioning Rashid. The room I and my friend booked opens up to the terrace and the interior takes you back in time. The bed was very comfortable and... More

During my recent three week visit to Fes, i slept in eleven different riads and dars. Dar el Gnaoua was one of the most beautifully restored of the houses and with great service as well. The only downside to Dar Gnaoua may be its location as it is right in the middle of the oldest part of Fes medina, but... More
