Stayed with our grown sons in Fes over Thanksgiving as the younger is doing semester abroad at Al-Akhawayn University in Ifrane. The Riad was easy to find from the Blue Gate (Bab Boujloud) which had a parking lot in which we left the car safely for 2 days. We were welcomed with the best mint tea we had while in... more

Kacem and his staff were very friendly and welcomed us with mint tea and cookies after a long day of traveling to Fes. Our room, though simply furnished, had ample space and was very clean and comfortable. The bathroom was on the smallish side, but was also very clean and there was plenty of hot water and decent water pressure-a... more

Fes is the quintessential city of what I imagined Morocco to be. We stayed here for one night and had a lot of communication with Kacem the owner over email prior to arriving. We arranged for a pick up from the train station and the driver waited about an hour for us at the train station as our train was... more

This riad is quite beautiful, as are most riads in the Fes medina. Our room on the top floor was bright and spacious. The location is good, just inside the medina within easy access to the main gates for taxis. Now the drawbacks: if you're given a room on the top floor, be prepared to climb and climb and climb... more

We got a huge room with a double bed and single bed for the three of us. Room was gorgeously decorated with a four poster double bed and sitting area on the floor. Bathroom tiles were cracked though, and bathroom was quite small, so much so that the entire bathroom gets wet when you shower. There is a small winding... more

Charming Riad right in the centre of the old medina. We arrived at the train station and were met by a taxi driver holding a sign with our names on it, who took us as close to the Riad as he could by car, and walked us the remaining distance to the Riad himself. On arrival we were given mint... more
