Wonderful Riad and a perfect place to enjoy the sights and sounds of fez - and on those afternoons when you need a place to just chill and relax there could be no better place than the dar attajalli rooftop. We stayed in the room on the main floor and would have preferred some more light or better lighting (it... more

The place is really charming and great restoration has been done. The rooms are beatifully decorated (we´ve stayed at the room in the ground floor), and the terrace is just great!. Breakfast is really complete (I would say the best in Morocco) and set in a beatiful way in a big table where you can share experiences and plans with... more

I read the review below "Dodgy Bar" and was extremely upset with their review. My boyfriend and I stayed in DAr Attajalli for 3 nights and we absolutely LOVED it. We are seasoned travellers who have been all over Europe and we can safely say that Dar Attajalli is the best B&B we have stayed so far. Kleo is an... more

Kleo, the owner, arranged for us to be met at the airport by a driver who took us to the edge of the Medina. Here, at the car park, our driver found us a man and a cart to carry all of our luggage to the riad. The 5 of us (3 guests, taxi driver and chariot driver) walked the... more

I have travelled widely and stayed at many an inn and guest house. Rarely am I so fortunate as to come across such a wonderful place as Dar Attajalli. Of my three weeks in Morocco, this was my favorite guest house and the place that I would return to above all others. Where do I begin to describe in more... more

We have just spent six nights at Dar Attajalli, ending our honeymoon in Morocco in style. Real Moroccan style, with a spacious, comfortable room overlooking a richly decorated courtyard in the heart of the busy Medina. It's true that arrival in the medina can come as quite a surprise, and we followed Naïm who was sent to meet us down... more

I have just spent three nights at the recently opened Dar Attajali, conveniently situated right in the heart of the bustling Medina, a stone’s throw from the old city’s principal pedestrian artery. Just turn a couple of corners off the main route, and step in through the secret wooden door. You will be greeted by the scent of ancient cedarwood... more

I stayed at Dar Attajalli for three nights. I found the accomodation to be superb and fantastically elegant. Outside local craftsmen worked diligently on threads for the local carpret makers. From the entrance to this sophisticated Dhar came the lovely proprietress Kleo. It is a combination of elegance juxtaposed with a poetic attention to detail. I stayed in the orange... more

Our introduction to Dar Attajalli was less than wonderful. The person who met us to guide us through the medina to the Dar, took us down back alleys full of dodgy individuals and running streams of sewage. The photos on Dar Attajalli's website make it look quite nice but upon arrival we found it very dark and the room were... more

Management response from
Attajalli, owner

The two women writing the „dodgy“ report reserved three nights at my guesthouse. They booked the twin bedded room (24m2!) on the courtyard level. When they arrived at the parking which is a 5 minutes walk from the house they were welcomed by one of our staff members who wanted to help them with their luggage. They didn’t allow him...
