This hotel was our first glimpse of Morocco. Very friendly staff with decent rooms. Clean for the most part but a little dated. The shower recess is small but there is plenty of hot water, and free wifi in each room. Our room faced the street but there didn't seem to be a lot going on out there so there... More

I stayed here for one Saturday night on my way out of Morocco the next afternoon. I stayed in room 108, which overlooks the street, and it was very quiet with almost no traffic noise at all. The Maamoura is an old hotel, but very straight forward. The room and the bathroom were spotlessly clean as was the bed linen... More

I only stayed for 1 night in this Hotel and so it served its purpose. It is an old building with a character filled lobby area. The bedroom and bathroom were adequate but noise carries from one bedroom to the next. The best thing about it is where it is located in the downtown area. I loved the downtown, wandering... More

This is a quaint hotel with 1930s character that would have made a good backdrop for the movie Casablanca. Our room was quite large, had high ceilings and 2 windows. The ensuite bathroom was sizable even if it was bit of challenge to get into the shower/tub enclosure. The reception staff were very helpful, in fact they came and found... More

We walked by the Maamoura three times trying to find it. The sign is in Arabic unless your walking from the tram. Once we located it we were pleased with the look and the room was clean. The breakfast was good and this was an overall pleasant experience.

I was able to survive a solo trip to Casablanca just to unwind from all the busy city life that I have. I was on a budget that time but I really needed the out of the country vacation. I went straight to the hotel after arriving in the airport. The hotel is very close to the airport which makes... More

We enjoyed one night in this hotel. The rooms are not fancy, but are clean and comfortable. The staff is friendly and helpful. The balconies and views are great! Breakfast was served in the dining room buffet style. Not as nice as a riad breakfast but a good start to the day.

We stayed here one night on arrival in Morocco, the booking having been arranged by our tour company. We just had 10 hours here but that was enough. The hotel is really old fashioned and needs redoing from top to bottom. The staff seemed nice enough in a sleepy kind of way. The bed was comfy but the bedclothes need... More

Quiet and lovely street. Walking distance to medina and wet market. You can find fresh and delicious seafood at the market. Freshly cook at the stalls nearby. The medina offer goods like shoes, bags, bread, fruits, vegetables, clothing, etc But I would suggest to put your shopping urge on hold if you plan to visit Fes or Marrakesh, generally things... I spent my last night in Casablanca at Maamoura Hotel before an early morning flight home. For my purposes, it was adequate and convenient to the airport. Nice lobby but overall looked very old and tired. Can use some updating. No hair dryer in room. Had to go downstairs to the lobby to borrow one and had to return it... More
