I stayed at hotel Almohades for night along with my mother and grandmother before traveling to the airport the next morning. Upon my arrival the man who works at the front desk during daytime hours was extremely rude and disrespectful to myself, my mother and my grandmother! He accused me of not actually having a reservation when I repeatedly show... More

Casablanca is a big city, with heavy traffic and a great many hotels and many are not listed on well-known sites, especially the cheaper establishments. After much deliberation and being the last two days of our travels we decided on a mid-range hotel. The Atlas Almohades is very central, close to many cafes and restaurants, the old medina, twin towers... More

This is not an expensive hotel and it's much better than other hotels in Casablanca twice expensive. This hotel is very well located near the old center of Casablanca. The hotel is old but it had a small refurbishment in some rooms. The hotel is clean and quiet. The service is good. It's a perfect hotel for a overnight stay... More

The room was smallish (normal European size) but OK, except for some holes in the bathroom ceiling. Dinner in the hotel was good. The hotel was supposed to let me have a breakfast at 5:45 and didn't deliver on that. Additionally, there was a person sleeping on a couch in the lobby at that time, presumably an employee. Thankfully, the... More

The reservation for this hotel was made by my travel agent..I read all the reviews for this hotel prior to leaving and was absolutely terrified before I even arrived. It's not that bad. The hotel is centrally located close to Old Medina and the trolley that one can take from one end of Casablanca to the other. We stayed six... More

Stayed a few nights and liked the newly renovated rooms. But the service vas close to non existence. Asked the man in the service caounter if they had a map over the city. He looked up from his newpaper and said "no" and then continued to read. Next day found out they had a photocopy of the area. When asked... More

If you are staying in Casablanca, you could do a lot worse than the Atlas Almohades. The location is central, the room is clean and comfortable, and the price is good for Casablanca (which is more expensive than the rest of Morocco). In the minus side, the toilet seat was wonky, the carpet was stained, and the WiFi was only... More

We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights, double room for 50$ a day (Breakfast not included). We had no problems finding the hotel. The hotel is in central location, short walk away from the nearest tram station, we felt safe coming back to the hotel at night. Staff was helpful and welcoming. They answered our questions, they exchanged our... More

I agree with everything the previous reviewer "John W" said. It's a decent hotel in a good and central location. Also, it was great value for the money spent, €40 in my case. For anyone considering staying here who might be scared off by the negative reviews here - book it anyway: It's NOT filthy. The staff was very professional.... More
