We were on a privately organised 4* tour. Shabby is the best word to describe this hotel. Our bathroom was attacked by ants. Dinner was in the dining room (note: not restaurant) on 1st floor. Limited selection of food, bulked up with some salads. Room was shabby, with a TV that refused to work. Small double bed, with a mattress... more
For under $80 a night for a single with breakfast, Kenzi Basma is value for money. Its best feature is it central locatiion. The first time I actually got a very small room in a corner, but the second time round the room was large enough. Conversly, the first time the staff were very friendly and on the second visit... more
Kenzi Basma was well located, although at first we thought the neighborhood was a bit seedy (as it turns out, all of Casablanca is seedy...). The rooms in the hotel were a little dated and dumpy, but comfortable and quiet. I would seriously doubt their 4-star rating. For instance, the holder for the shower head fell off the first morning,... more
This hotel is really 4* hotel. Price is very reasonable and i am really happy in my stay. the room is big enough and clean. room service and house keeping was ok. restaurants are above average and you have fresh orange juice every morning... staff is very helpful and communication is easy with them. this hotel is not for holiday... more
I really felt like I was in Morocco when I walked into the room decorated in red and gold with billowy drapes and the large padded headboard. The little sitting area had red and gold furniture too. The bathroom was extremely large. We even had a little balcony. The water got hot quickly. The elevator doors are decorated in Islamic... more
I stayed at this hotel for four(4) nights. August 20-24, 2008. My room # was: 604. This room looked out the front of the hotel towards the famous Hasasan II mosque, and the Atlantic ocean. There was a medium size balconly you could step out on to view the sights. The room itself was large, with a king size bed,... more
Checking into this hoetl with a travel group arnd 30 persons, we founds ourselves in a LARGE hotel room. 2 floors & 2 bathrooms! It was great to stretch out and relax. I enjoyed this hotel and loved walking around the streets finding great deals for shopping. To find the shopping area, walk out of the hotel to your right.... more
We found this hotel to be a very poor experience from start to finish. We got a very good rate, but that did not compensate for the misfortune of staying here. We were on the final leg of our honeymoon with 2 nights in Casablanca to round it off, having been to Marrakech and Agadir the previous 2 weeks. We... more
We had a discount and so it was very cheap to stay in this 4star hotel in the center of Casablanca..so it was definitely a good experience, starting with the fact that we paid less than the ordinary for it. In any case, I think it is a good solution for staying in the center of Casablance, at walking distance... more
