We were staying a fortnight in Marrakech but decided to have a weekend in Casablanca. The train journey was interesting, about 3 hours. A return ticket is really cheap about £12 or so and that for first class. Don't go second class which was a bit of a cattle market! We took a taxi to the hotel but the tram... More

There is nothing bad with the hotel itself, nor good. But an incident tell something about how it is managed. The first night while waiting in the lobby I asked the chief of staff of the bar that belongs to the hotel if I could order something. Because of a language misunderstanding he became furious and screamed that no one... More

We stayed 3 nights at this hotel and found it was good value for money. It's decore is a little tired but the amenities are good. We had wi-fi in the room which came in handy as English was only available on the Action channel. Alcohol was still served in the bar, even though it was Ramadan. The hotel is... More

We stayed at this downtown location for the convenience. There were four of us traveling so we had to book 2 rooms. There is complimentary Internet, water and a hotpot in the room to make tea or coffee. From our 9th floor room we could see the mosque in the distance. It is about 1.5 miles away and you need... The location of the hotel is just perfect, opposit the Sofitel and the Meridien Royal Mansour. Do not expect to be in Best western, it is the level of a 2 stars maximum. Very old, that hotel needs a serious renovation. The room with carpet has bad smell and regarding the AC you have to complain till the Manager to... More

I was going to give this hotel 4 stars. But after refusing to give us our change when paying in cash 'we don't have any, go to the bank and get some yourself', I've dropped it to 3. Staff were ok. We were initially given a smoking room, but having booked a non-smoking we asked to change. The new room... More

The staff were nice enough to check me in fairly early (@1pm). My room was large and clean. But the real key to this hotel is its location - a few minutes walk from the tram stop (Marche) and the Place Nations Unis. Across the street from the clock tower which is one entrance to the Medina. A 5-minute walk... More
