I travelled with a friend, and didn't have high expectations of the hotel - we've stayed in cheap hotels since we're students. We saw the four star rating, but thought we should expect a three star hotel - this was overoptimistic. The hotel is, at best, a two star, which many aspects which you just simply would not get at... Just had a week at les omayades hotel , despite the poor reviews we found i it to be a clean well located hotel , I agree it is starting to look a bit tired in places , but the gardens and rooms were well looked after , it's traditional Moroccan food so if your wanting chips and full English... It's opposite the King's Palace.... So very safe!!! Staff are wonderful.... So helpful and relaxed... ..Inspite of it being Ramadam! Want a calm relaxed escape then come here?! Food is very traditional. For meat eaters ... Great lamb tagine! As a pescatarian a very tasty selection of fish ... As long as you can manage afew bones! Upgraded rooms are... More

After reading numerous negative reviews about this hotel I was concerned to say the least! I can honestly say that it is nothing like how some people have described it, yes the bedrooms could do with modernising and there are loose floor tiles here and there but other than that I couldn't fault it, I think the negative reviews written... This hotel was really good. The location is average and it is a bit of walk to get somewhere interesting. However, the beach is only a ten minute walk away. I would suggest being all inclusive when staying at this hotel as the food is very good and there is lots on offer. It would be a bit expensive for... More

As per previous reviews I would suggest stay well away if you want to enjoy Morrocco. Book a decent hotel as this one is clearly not! I could list many negatives but will start with positives...clean room..well maintained gardens..location ok...waiters/bar staff ok...negatives...reception staff rude/ignorant....food repetative/bland/limited/not covered/drinks local wine tat/beer ok/no spirits on all inclusive/glasses rinsed not washed properly/only saw pool... Hotel in general was clean but could do with a re-vamp. The food was basic and repetitive, nothing outstanding but all edible and tasty. BIG WARNING to single girls, we were a group of 4 and were not happy with the way the entertainment staff behaved, expecting holiday flings with us just because we were girls on our own (half...
