The hotel was empty with skeleton crew. Arrived around 9.00pm, the entrance to the hotel was dark, and one old man with a stick as security. The place is in the middle of nowhere. Checked in and a late meal, I am sure it was can soup, broccoli with sand in it and some rice, no meal was available for... More

Arrived after a long date travelling including flight delay, to find that the hotel was in the sticks, the owner of the hotel was drunk. Herman the Monster showed us to her room and we found there was no fridge, or AC, the room was extremely hot, the bed was a large lump of concrete covered by a sheet and... More

Some people will complain about surroundings, but that's the real Morocco so stop being so snobby! I thought they were Ok to be honest, and if they wanted to go to tourist areas then why not get a bus to the badwa for only for 4 dirhams! Then a petit taxi from badwa to beach is about 20dh on meter,... More

Our initial impression of the hotel was good until it got further into our stay there. When we arrived at reception we was just given key to our room and not shown where anything was and had to go on a mission to find things or ask! The hotel was completely empty and we were the only guests there, could... More

I will never forgive myself for staying in this hotel. The hotel is clean and only 20 minutes drive away from the centre. The surrounding is like being in Beirut or Afghanistan. Scary people around asking for cigarettes and change Reception staff so helpful they will do any for you or even try to do some thing to you. I... More

We stayed here for our last night in Morocco - it is very handy for the airport, but also a real haven with a beautiful garden, helpful staff and lovely food. The beds are really comfortable and the showers are brill. There is a lovely indoor pool as well as an outdoor one. I was delighted we stayed here as... More

Spent 3 days and nights there on a half-board basis as a short trip away for some rest and relaxation. Echoing some comments here the hotel is about 4km outside of Agadir and so you need to travel by taxi to get to restaurants and shops and bars. That is an experience if you are not fluent in French as... More

I run my own birdwatching tour company called Wild Insights and for several years we have been visiting Morocco and staying at the totally delightful Jacaranda Hotel. The position of the Jacaranda coiuld not be better for birdwatching as it is only minutes form the internationally important Souss Estuary and also makes a perfect base for visitng such other sites... We had a lovely, relaxing stay at the Jacaranda last week. The location is a 10 minute taxi ride from the beach and still costs about £4 each way although you can barter on this price. We purposely picked this hotel because of it's more remote and quiet location and were not disappointed. The gardens are very well maintained, are... More
