There was a heatwave last week so didn't get to see much of the country, hotel is in need of repair, telephone didn't work, couldn't hire a fridge, pillows were hard, but the staff were very pleasant and helpful, food was good though we didn't have a choice unless, like me, you don't eat fish. Would go back but only... More

Sud Bahia is a nice old hotel located in great area, about 5 min from the beach. There is a lot shops, restaurants around the hotel. Breakfast typical in moroccan style, bread, jam, honey, eggs, vegetables etc. Rooms are clean, with balcony. Toilets quite clean but old and need renovation. Staff friendly. There is a nightclub so u can buy... More

The hotel is nice and it is located in a good area. The breakfast was enough good. The room is big, warm, modest and quiet. We always had hot water and the price for the room was less than 20 euros. Recommend the hotel!

Diabolical. I could go on forever: seagulls in the swimming pool & pooping on sunbathers + associated noise; builders on two of the four floors from 8 a.m after the club music had finished at 5; the bar became a venue for ladies of the night & unsavoury smokers ( hookers & hookahs); no hot water when we finally got... How bad you find this hotel will be coloured by the plumbing in your particular room. You might get lucky and it all works - but you have, from my experience, a 50% chance of no hot water. The shower heads are half broken, the towels uniquely non-absorbent, the lighting crap - but the place is really cheap so that's... More

The hotel is old and tired but my room was freshly decorated and they are renovating some rooms. What do people expect for less than £15 a night? I was very grateful to have a heater as it was December and cold once the sun went down. The room was cleaned daily and the threadbare towels changed. The bed was... More

Through the years I have stayed in a few different hotels in Agadir including the Hotel Sud Bahia (HSB) several times. Latest for a couple of weeks in Feb. 2012. Since HSB is a budget hotel, don't expect any high standard. It is popular with 246 rooms scattered on four floors. My room on the first floor had a French... More
