The staff here never stopped. The pool and pool area was the cleanest I've ever seen. Pool bar snacks were really good. Breakfast monotonous. Bread and croissants every day. (It may of changed) noisy and echoey late at night and early morning. Great restaurant's nearby.

Hotel Kamal was quiet when we visited at the Start of June. And by quiet I mean we often had both the pool and breakfast room to ourselves This meant that staff were falling over themselves to help us. The pool attendant ( who was very friendly and had a sunbed set up for you before you could even reach... More

If you stay here you.ll have a door man! Old fashion typical resort accomodation, comfortable beds, very clean and same boring breakfast every day unless you.re willing to pay extra. Nice swimming pool!

Didnt start well as we wanted to change rooms due to smoke smell but they wouldnt do that. However fumegated the room and other than the occasional cockroach the room was fine and cleaned each morning. Hotel reception staff were quite helpful and the pool was fine. Hotel is close to small bazzar mini prix which is good for souvenirs.... More

We stayed at Hotel Kamal for a week at end of April and is definitely one the best budget hotels I have stayed in for a long time. It doesn't offer food other than breakfast but it is very close to amenities, shops and restaurants, that it doesn't really need to - try the kebab place down the road to... More

Visited the Kamal about 8 years ago as part of a package holiday with Panorama (now part of Thomas Cook). Was interested to see it was still available when I booked separate flights and hotel accomodation in March 2014. As it still offered great value for money I went ahead and booked. Was pleased to say that on arrival very... More

I booked this hotel for 4 nights thanks to the reviews I found on Tripadvisor. I was not dissapointed - this is a great hotel at a great price. The staff are friendly warm and welcoming and very helpful. The room was large and very clean (until I unpacked my suitcase!). The swimming pool is lovely and the perfect place... More

This hotel is well situated in the centre of the town about 3 blocks back from the beach. During the day you can walk down through the Valley of the Birds which is quite fun and cuts out the need to cross a busy road. I asked for a room overlooking the pool, otherwise I think you would hear road... More

I have just spent 7 nights at the hotel and was so pleased with my choice. Unassuming from the outside, the hotel itself has a welcoming look with a large, nicely furnished lounge/reception area. My room was a good size, simply furnished but with plenty of wardrobe space and coat hangers. Everywhere was spotlessly clean. There is a large pool... More

We arrived late on Saturday night, but yet reception were ready and attentive. They took there time to explain were everything was, location places to go etc. The hotel is only 3 star but it is so clean you can eat tour dinner of the floor. The pool area can certainly pass as a 4 star. Mohammed who manned the... More
