Honestly, the hotel is nice and well located but 5 stars? Hell no! It would deserve 3 at best. The service is terrible, the food is bad and it's way too pricey. I paid something like 2700 Dinars for a burger (27 euros more or less). Now I don't mind more for food if it's good but you would get... More

The Aurassi completed its rehabilitation works! Of course the building's still a big concrete block, and the stay there is still overpriced, but now the rooms are neat, and I found the staff rather friendly. It's a good idea to pack some ear plugs because of ventilation noise from outside.

This hotel has been refurbished to a good standard loved having separate toilet from the shower room (both with their own sink). Slight problem with the shower spraying water everywhere soaking the floor. Beds and bedlinnen as big and comfy as a Vegas hotel. We booked a garden view and was pleasantly surprised to see the port from our balcony... More

I tend not to judge a place on a one-time experience…unfortunately, this is the second time I have stayed at ‘El Aurassi’, and I felt compelled to let people know a few things about this place. The first time staying was a new experience for me. It was my first time in Algeria, and it was for business. Given that... More

with not many options to stay in Algiers, i use to be at el aurassi. the hotel is nice by itself, wonderful views over the bay. But, the services are hoooorrible. bad food at unresoneable prices, breakfast area seems like a place were a worldwar has taken a place. 5 stars yes but a 2 stars level. the only reason... More

A very impressive building indeed, marble and wood all over the place, beautiful view on the city. Unfortunately, the service is not at the level, besides the restaurant people who are friendly. Issues: - laundry picked up my clothes and filled the form for laundry request themselves (I was supposed to file it) - laundry picked up my clothes and... More

Although it is a very impressive site, the Hotel lacks the excellence in service it would be expected from it. The view of the Algiers Bay is indeed stupendous, as well as the rooms and other facilities. However, it is hard not to conclude that the service quality and the meals compromise the experience. The very expensive rates foster expectations... More

The hotel is massive, very luxurious and clean, the rooms are spacious and the bed is comfortable. The view of the Bay of Algiers is spectacular. On top of that the swimming pool is great and the spa is stunning. Some of the services are not up to the level. I would mention especially the service in the various restaurants.... More

no improvement since my first visit, such a shame, this hotel has the potential to become a leading hotel in Algeria, rooms are nice and spacious but breakfast is really poor for 30 euros which is a massive amount in Algeria, staff are careless and client is the last of their worries, came to reception for check out and had... We went to Algeria for the first time 2 weeks ago, to attend our friend's wedding at El Aurassi so we thought we would treat ourselves and stay at the hotel for 3 nights. It was amazing. The hotel is very luxurious and clean, the rooms are super spacious and the bed is comfortable. The view of the Bay of... More
