The Ames Americinn is a standard member of the Americinn chain, they meet the expectations I have of that chain. I visit Ames serveral times a year, and this is the only place I'll stay. It's reasonably priced, the bed are comfortable, and the rooms and common areas are always neat and clean. Awful stay.......We stayed for a hockey tournament, and the room was terrible. Smelled and dirty. Would not recommend this to anyone. more
We have stayed here twice now. A very clean, soundproof room. Nice continental breakfast. Easy off and on highway access. We recommend it highly. more
