The main perk is being within easy walking distance of Amana's restaurants and shops. Everything is less than three blocks away. The name of the hotel must have changed to "The Guest House Motel" now. We stayed in the newer bldg which was built in 1984. As per last reviewer: great location in Amana. We were in the newer building. Clean and well kept. This is a great location in Amana. If you are in town for Octoberfest, which we were. The Festhall is a half block away. Two good restaurants are within a couple of blocks, and the Millstream Brewery (great beer) is also close.... more
